Why Were "Secret Spots" In Tanki Online Created?

Anybody have a clue why tanki created the spots? Please, I don't want to see screenshots of your tank in said spots. I would prefer it if a tanki online staff member gave me an answer.

Gold drop location spots? Those (and other drop location indicators on the ground) were added to make gameplay more tactical, so that you can carefully plan your path around the battlefield and outsmart your opponent, collecting all the bonus boxes to give yourself an advantage. The gold box indicators were added to add skill to the event of catching the gold box so that it won't be as random, but still fair for light hulls and less experienced players.

No one knows why, but they are fun!

Secret rooms were added to the game to make it more fun for players to explore, but they don't serve any particular purpose. It's just something the map creator added as a sort of easter egg. They were recently removed because players used them to sabotage the battle.

Meh, secret stuff. Even we don't have much of an idea.

 

My perspective - they're placed in-game to create the feeling of something called 'fun' when playing. Now you're probably wondering, what is the 'fun' in looking at 'secret' signs placed in battles.. well think again! Such things normally are 100% linked in The GAME contest mostly. They're quite suspicious and most of 'em contain a secret message exposing different mysteries at a different times.

 

For example, at the very starting point of Godmode_ON's appearance, there was once a sign in the special Halloween map saying something similar to "Beware...." what the message states after "Beware" had some sort of Godmode's description on it at some point. So yeah, that secret sign had a message about Godmode. Now he's all over Polygon DMs tearing every tanker apart!! :P
