Intresting... I'm glad you out the time into this. I'll still probably use chrome, Just because it's synced up on all my gadgets and I love the personalization. For future preference i'll definitely take a look at pale moon.

Maybe one of the mods can just merge this into the other topic. Merging makes more sense then locking, especially if we are concerned about search results. I know I hate having to search stuff in this forum, you always end up with too many results, most of which are locked when they should have been merged, or left open for future discussion. But hey, what do I know, I've only been using the internet for about 20 years, and have been on so many forums and bbs boards I can't even count them.

I think they did merge the topics....... lol.... :p

There's nothing better than standalone :P

And btw you should say average FPS for small/medium/large maps and say your PC components.

Yea..... but the links for standalone are COMPLICATED...... -_-

Yes, but once you opened it at least once, it will get saved instandalone and there's no need to copy paste it again. I have a text document with all the codes in my desktop if I want a special server tho, takes 2 seconds to open.

Hm.. the link does not distribute viruses in these browsers. As far I am concerned, I've had this browser for two years and my computer never gets a complaint of virus. Even now! I've got the best anti-virus known and available near my locality. I'm pretty sure that there isn't anything wrong with my anti-virus as it's the original version. As for the laggy part, blame on your net connection. A part reason for laggs is your net connections. It affects to say the least 50% of your game performance in online games. So, if there's anything wrong with it, with all due respect, get a new PC or a better net connection. ;)

With all due respect........i have a new windows 7, an awsome internet connection...... so i think the problem is with sfbrowser........ but never mind......i play with what works best for me, and you play with whats best for you.....

BUT PALE MOON IS BETTER :p

I know..... i played via standalone for quite a long time...... but nowdays i am turning to browsers for two reasons: i play with friends a lot.... but the friends links dont work with standalone..... and i also saw that tanki will be changing to unity soon....... so whats the use??

I play with pale moon.... and im happy.... :)

Guys, seriously, try a gecko based browser...... (i highly recommend pale moon)

although firefox<standalone cuz of so many addons and extensions and other stuff, these other not-so-well-known gecko browsers are awsomely fast not only because they are based on the lightning fast Mozilla source code, but also because they dont have tons of addons and extensions that bog their speed down. Check them out (i posted the links on the first page) and see their MIND-BLOWING speed....... o_0

I personally think that these gecko browsers>standalone. :D

I didn't say it was better. I said it doesn't have that kind of issues you said, makes a great difference. :)
