I use Wasp M1 and admit that I find it difficult to handle, especially on nitro. I bump into EVERYTHING.

I also think Hornet accelerates faster than Wasp but don't have numbers handy to back this up.

it is true, hornet accelerates and brakes faster. That makes Hornet a perfect stop-go-dodge hull, while a wasp driver has to find different ways of dodging.

Hornet needs more power , so you can actually push other tanks aside , and Wasp needs weight , so it doesn't flip as easily as it does now.

- M2 Wasp shot by  M2 rail

- M3 Wasp shot by  M3 rail

^ these combinations are already very stable, if you know how to handle a wasp.

I only flip when I shot at the same time as my opponent, when in midair or when at the edge of a ramp

(and of course I sometimes flip due to own stupidity :):):))

Tanki has modified the far too easy flipping, and since then Wasp is really less frustrating. I like it :)

i have both m3, and those hulls are REALLY different.

The extra HP and stability (weight) of hornet makes it suitable for some beating, taking often an extra shot from a large amount of guns: Thunder, Railgun, smoky, ricochet...

While wasp extra agility (more speed, lighter, sharp turns instead of slow drifts) relies only on the driving skills of the tanker behind it, cause you cant really take any serious amount of fire, and a shot while you are jumping or turning can often flip you.

I suggest hornet for players who want a stable playstyle, and wasp only if you are willing to take a little beating while learning how to drive it. if you manage to master it, the only drawback you will have is the fact your aim can be knocked off easier than hornet, while being fair superior in speed and agility.

IMO wasp beats hornet at m2 and m3. Where a litle extra hp doesnt make a big difference. Hornets advantages are its low rank unlocking and low price. Hornet, like Viking, is great in the beggining but looses ground slowly as you rank up.

Wasp all the way!
