Wasp is better ONE WORD especially in XP/BP

Though I don't have wasp

I have killed many of wasps even m2 wasps with my m2 hornet so yea a skilled m2 hornet can beat a m2 wasp....

Well.... I used to think the same...

Ofc wasp = hornet in routine battles

But in XP/BP wasp is better why????

Bcz of better turning speed , better overall speed , better acceleration and like hornet it dies in 2 hits so yea its better. especially in most played XP/BP map which is sandbox. Because of less impact force wasp rarely turns over now.

As for the question,

 

I prefer my M1 Wasp over my M1 Hornet, simply because I've upgraded the former quite a few times and it now has much more health than an average M1 Hornet. Wasp is also much faster, and doesn't skid around corners like Hornet does. I use it almost all the time, since it goes great with Firebird and Isida, my two mains.

 

However Hornet isn't bad either. I'm planning on getting it as my first M2, matter of fact. Despite the drifting, it's got pretty good stability. More weight means you won't be affected as much by enemy fire, and its power lets you push around other tanks a bit easier. I simply don't use mine since it's, y'know... less health.

 

Wasp just really fits into my weapon set so well. I use Firebird a lot for ninja-ing around the battleground and taking out enemies in hit-and-run spurts, while taking back as little punishment as possible. For Isida, well, a god is nothing if not omnipresent, and getting to those damaged Hornets sure is a breeze since I'm faster. I may die quickly, but as long as I'm doing my job, I shouldn't complain. The main problems come when I either flip on my side, or get shot by an enemy. The hull is so light that I flip right over, and have no way to right myself. Twins and Ricochet are my biggest enemies.

 

I think Hornet goes better with guns like Rail and Hammer. They deal a lot of damage, can flip you back over, and require a playstyle that requires less caution, meaning that you're going to take a few more hits. If you can get used to skidding and don't mind the speed decrease, this is the hull for you. However if you're like me and you gotta release your inner Sonic the Hedgehog, Wasp is gonna suit you better.

From beggining of TO playing, I like only use Wasp. It suita very good for Smoky and Isida. Also can do good parkour with rail, hammer and vulcan.

 

Can't say that Hornet is worse than Wasp or Wasp worse than Hornet, because each player has its own style. Wasp fits to me with 100%. Ofcourse it took time and nervous to learn with how to drive, escape, peek around corners, catch GBs and so on. So, months have gone and I have learned to drive with Wasp and also shoot while driving with Wasp. Balancing kinda asks much skills, but I can deal with. And yes, twins and ricos are like worst nightmers for Wasp, because it is light tank and those turrets have like OP impact force. But I got like backup for that, and yes, it is Smoky. Smokys helps a lot to avoid shots from twins and ricos with wasp.

 

 

Like I say: I like to do big stuffs with small things.

 

 

 

Hornet I kinda dont like - sliding, turret is in the center of hull, harder to peek around corners, it is also kinda big. From side it looks small, but he is easy target. Maybe newbies wont agree with this, but I think expierenced players would agree with this. Yes, it has speed, better balancing chsnces, more armour, speedups, but still Hornet is easy target. You can go straight to it, shot the corners, run around him, again shot the corners end dead. Wasp has that plus that he can run around hornet, shot the corners and destroy it. Ofcourse you wont go against dictator or viking with wasp, because those hulls have enough health to take time to take a cover or go against wall, to block way for going around him.

 

Just my opinion. :-)

Everyone is skilled with one or the other I'm pretty sure but I am skilled with hornet I usually get in first on team battles on the leaderboard without using drugs

If anything I like Hornet better, it has more armor and can take some hits, and it's just easier to find a good combo.

Like Firebird, it suits it better than Wasp because you might survive attacking the target. Overall I prefer Hornet, but I do have a use for Wasp... Target practice. >:D
