New Turret Contest!

Well guys, that was a most misleading title. :)

No new turret contest, sorry. :P

 

What this post is really about is this:

I suggest that all of us (see, I include myself) that want new turrets (and hulls and paints and ranks and supplies etc) should really stop suggesting these ideas in seperate topics.

 

For two reasons basically.

1st, Tanki has plenty of designers that are both good and creative and have as well studied the market of online games (therefore they know pretty much all there is to know about other ideas for hulls, turrets etc).  Nothing we can suggest that is new to them. They know all, they consider all and they have their agenta of implementing new items into the game.

 

2nd, think well, and consider that each new item means crystals. A lot of crystals! We buy M0, then M1, M2, M3 and then maybe we microupgrade, and besides, we buy relative paints also. See, many crystals to spend. A great variety of combos equals to millions of crystals. So, we don't really want many new items, do we? No, most of us don't (to be exact, we do want them, but we don't want to pay for them LOL). Devs know that and add what they think is ... buyable by the average buyer, that is, they keep relatively low the launching of new items.

 

Instead, I suggest a permanent theme / topic for creativity, made by Tanki mods, where each one can post their ideas about new hulls, turrets, paints and maps and any moderator will add to a list in the 1st posting as follows (imaginary):

 

HULLS

1. Heavy hull that can break down walls, big moveability / slow speed / average turning, by Player A at December the 27th, 2014.

2. Medium hull that can climb 60 degrees slope / rocks for a limited time, by Player B at December 30th, 2014.

 

TURRETS

1. Repulsive turret that pushes away all other tanks around and can't be opoosed directly (via contact), but only by shot, by Player C at December the 22nd, 2014

2. Missile launcher, with medium range but slow reload, by Player B at January 9th, 2015.

 

PAINTS

1. ...

...

 

etc.

 

Thus, Tanki staff can access this collective list of ideas should they want to, and adjust their own ideas before implementing. What do you think?

 

p.s. Maps could be proposed either in text (description) or in photo. In the last case, the photo could be in spoiler so that it won't occupy much space...

 

So, if some Dev see this post and likes it, may decide to give it a "go!". Otherwise, we keep creating new topics every now and then.

I meant that they might be afraid because some ideas would improve WoT. But you're right....they aren't the same game.
