This is not about skill, this is about strategy. Some strategies can annoy someone.

 

I don't think that there is way to make gold boxes "fair".

Really you should mix skill and strategy, because you can have all the strategy you want but if you don't have the skill to do it, your strategy is just a thought.

I agree.  Although I have been arguing against this for logic's sake, I would say that I really preferred the randomness of the game and crystal box drops rather than it is now.

You're not meant to help friends get gold, when gold drops everyone should try on their own, purposly blocking someone to help a friend get it is against the rules, considered sabotage

Yes teamwork, but not friends, if on your team there's a friend, you shouldn't stop other teammates from getting gold, so that your friend can get it, you have to help all your teammates, so if gold was dropping, and you couldn't get it, you should help the teammate nearest to gold, to get it, and not just a person on your friendlist.

Yes, this shouldn't be allowed, because it means that your other teammates are impeded, if every member of the team was on your friendlist, and you talked about it in advanced, you agree to take it in turns, until everyone gets it, and then start over, that's different, but if you happen to be in a public game, with one teammate who is on your friendlist, that person shouldn't get a special treatment, you should act the same towards every teammate

True this isnt fun cuz in maps are many tankera who just sit and wait for gold

and when gold is droping on you u have almozt full hp but ofcourse someone has to glitch up on tanks and take gold..

One of my fav maps is noise, you could say that I live there, and many people join and don't help at all, they do parkour, and then when gold drops, they take it, and leave the game, this isn't fair, tanki should do something to prevent this, for example, if you don't get at least 1 point every so many minutes, you get get a warning, and then if it happens again you get kicked out.

If someone climbs on top of you, that means you weren't smart enough to get that gold.  The new system for golds requires more skill than before since everyone knows where it will land.

That's nonsense... All it takes for someone  to get the box is a dictator and many supplies. Goldbox as it is, has little to do with skill / strategy, even luck. Just money, that's what matters. Me, using light hulls (hornet mostly) don't have a chance to fight against drugging dictators and vikings, so sometimes I don't even try when I see lots of them.

That's not true. Few simple changes and gold boxes can be accesible to more players.

1. Non predictable zones. Goldboxes fall randomly in the map, excluding maybe the flag (or CP) areas.

2. Split every box of 1000 crystals into two boxes of 500 crystals that fall at the same time in two different areas.

3. Implement a system like Kick-2 to automatically locate inactive players / mults and remove them from battles.

With these three simple conditions who can say that some players are excluded form getting the goldboxes?

Kick-2 (that is mentioned above) is such a system that can locate inactive players and mults. Take a look in the topic, it's very interesting and a possible solution regarding mults.

I don't agree with the tracks touching the ground part.  This really sounds a lot similar to another guy talking about people climbing on top of him.  To get gold, you have to be smart enough to know exactly when to start running for the gold.  If you want a better chance to get it, get dictator.  I'm a hornet user and haven't been very smart at when to go after it.  But the gold is fine how it is.  No need to change the mechanics.

I got one yesterday because I destroyed 3 tankers that were trying to fight for position.  Waited 10 more seconds and the box just landed on me.

If you get lucky that they have low health, and no power ups, you can do that, but if they have power ups, and you don't, you wouldn't get nothing, my topic is based on the information tanki gave about the new system, find that vlog, listen carefully and then come back here to comment
