ok so once you get to the last rank i think tanki should add elite ranks basicly mini ranks that take a lot of xp to get say 500k xp or somthing doesnt haft to be that much but this would give those generalissimos somtihng to work at jsut to be clear they would still keep there rank just elite ranks be added as hidden ranks

I think that if more ranks are to be added, they just need to be subtle marks that show the Generalissimo grade, E.G. every new million starting from 2 000 000 will give your rank sign a new roman numeral as a subscript, so at 2 000 000 you get _I, then at 3 mil you get  _II, then _{III,  IV,  V,} and so on forever. I don think the size of the subscript will ever be a problem as probably no one will go over the 100th grade.

Many generalissimos, including myself, find the game slows down once you reach the final rank. XP doesn't matter anymore, and some of the excitement is lost.

 

I think the solution is to introduce an "Honours" system above the generalissimo rank. For example, every 100k XP above generalissimo gives you an honour, and the number of honours you have is somehow rewarded. For example, extra 100,000 crystals, or the number of honours displayed on your rank, or a special paint for each successive honour giving you complete 1%, 2%, etc up to 6% complete protection.

I have to admit that the game becomes much less diverse once you reach this rank. Indeed, XP doesn't matter anymore, while it should. So yes, maybe adding some special features for generalisimos would be benificial for players as for developers.

Daily challenges and long term achievement prizes should definitely be added so that genralissamos have something to work on and therefor decrease the amount of inactive genralissamos

Oh yes, the everlasting human urge for perfection, when you derive

so much satisfaction from watching your numbers go as high as they

can go, just so you can feel a (false) sense of accomplishment. No

matter how high the numbers get, it's never enough, so why not switch

to other more suitable games that already fulfill your needs?

 

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF KOREAN MMO'S:

 - where the grinding never stops, even when it does.

 - where the levelcap gets increased as soon as enough players start whining about it

 - where the entire game is focused on grinding and pretty much nothing else

 - where the main point of playing is to have a larger "exp number" than others

 - where you delete your character and start from scratch when progression

becomes too slow, because fast progression is always more fun.

 

Personal oppinion:

Every game has to have it's cap, and once you reach it, that's the end,

it's the reason why "end game content" exists, like raids in WoW, guild wars

in... well... GuildWars... and so on...

 

You want the perfect (false) sense of accomplishment, download and start playing

ProgressQuest, because it doesn't have a levelcap, it will be the game of your

dreams, that much I can guarantee, because I've been playing it for over two

years now and I'm still playing it... and I'll probably never stop playing it, because

it's so much fun :)

I think it would be a good idea since ikr that u kinda get bored after Generalissimo, i really hope for new ranks and ways to choose......for example say that u are a guy with Viking-Thunder, so u could choose (after getting to generalissimo) the rank: VT (Viking Thunder) so u get to that in some limits of xp, like from al ranks limits combined for example: from private to the next thing is 100, then it's 300. u make addition 100+300= 400xp and u do that for the other ranks too, and u get to an enourmous quanitity of xp to gain, to get to the VT rank. Once there, the combo deticated to the combo u chose (in this case Viking Thunder) will get automatically another level after M3, and maybe become XT or M4 or MSuper or something like that, additioning all the stats of the other Ms together, making like a "fusion" thing for example if Viking M0 has 100 hp, m1 has 150, m2 has 250 and m3 has 400 u make addition so: 100+150+250+400= 900 hp and so on with the other stats (keep in mind that if this thing would been launched all generalissimos would have same time and chance to get to that rank, so no OP also the battle for these ranks will be limited after ppl with atleast the rank of Marshal so not ppl with M2s will fight these guys). I would like to know if u like my idea :D
