Surprise, surprise, yet another dumb update!

You should REIMBURSE players so that we can adjust to yere nonsense! I would now go Viking+Shotgun.

 

You slave to buy something (XP in my case), add MU and there you go changing the goalposts once again. How can we adjust?

It was real fun flipping, which wasps could recover from!

 

With the addition of more guns, paints are becoming more & more ineffective.

 

Long range warfare is truly finished.

 

If you want to do something usefull and rebalance rail - CUT DOWN LOAD/FIRE TIME.

Takes way too long and leaves rail very vunerable, esp wrt short range turrets. D

Railgun could only flip wasp and hornet only by hitting their sides at almost right angle, you can't flip them hitting at other directions, is that too much to take? Now the cut of impact force is like from M3 -> M1, that's absurd, there's no chance of flipping any of them in anyway.

This is absolutely ridiculous. One of the biggest selling points of Railgun was it's ability to knock enemies aim off, and hit them with so much force they would sometimes crash, or even flip over. Now it's just weak. Weak, and only good for Format battles. 

 

I always thought as being flipped over as part of the fun. Who doesn't laugh when a wasp goes flying? But the community who play XP/BP are the same kind of people who don't kill you when you flip. So desperate to win they use the cheapest tactics in the books. But that's not the point. Railguns extreme impact force has always been one of the things that makes XP/BP such a "skillful" gamemode, You couldn't show your side to it or you would be flipped, Apparently people couldn't handle the fact they had to think about the positioning of their tank in the battlefield. 

 

But the repercussions of this, Format battles will be easier for the newbies who can't position their tank correctly, and people who play in normal battles hardly stand a chance now. Railguns damage is strong, but not really extraordinary compared to TO's other turrets. What made it deadly was a combination of high damage roll, and strong impact force.

 

Do I hear you offering a refund or compensation to those who feel cheated? No.  :angry:

I fully upgraded my Smoky's power... Incredible! Now it's just another useless gun... After shaft... Just awful! Players hate it, who is asking for such updates?! The game is changing every day and we don't like that... Why don't you just leave the guns like they are and come with something new? I already hate sfaft, now, really, we buy something and after we regret... I should upgrade Rico instead (?!).

At least, crystals back or, why not?!, sell our guns and buy another! It would be nice, we didnt expect these changes! :(

I have never seen a smokey flip me or anyone on a straight shot. It only happens in motion on inclines or from vertical angle. Changing smokey impact is bad idea.Very bad. 

 

I have never seen anyone trying to flip teammates (multing) with rail or smokey. With hammer, it is common. I have sometimes seen mults using rico or shaft, but rail and smokey are not part of the problem. 

 

Sad that you take the whiners comments so seriously. I detest being flipped, but it usually only happens when I didn't think fast enough. I can keep from being flipped if I play well. I did not need my gun nurffed nor those of my opponents. 

 

Honestly, the rico is the only weapon in this game that is significantly over powered. All the rest have a good balance of pro and con. Now, smokey is probably entirely worthless, and rail just may disappear outside xp/bp.

BTW, for all the whining about shafts being so useless now, I sure see a lot of shafts in most all maps. Smokeys, on the other hand, are rare. Doesn't that say something about the whiners? The turret changes in this update are bad.

Well any pro will be able to still flip his opponent, so nothing changed. Actually you gave higher ranks even bigger advantage over newbies. Big thanks!  :D

From a "frequently flipped" Wasp driver....

 

I never got angry when opponents flipped me, but I got VERY angry when it was done by members of my own team who were mults.  

 

This happened in about 1/3 of  the games that I played. 

 

I agree with the previous comments that developers need to reduce Hammer's flipping ability also.

Like many other have already said: bad and frustating for those who, like me, were developing their smokies.

So, now I will stop the enhancement of my smoky and start with hammer or ricochet.

What you are doing leads that at long term all users will be playing with only 2 or 3 turrets from the 10 or 12 available.

Nobody will be stupid to spend cristal on smoky anymore.

Tanki developers are doing it all the time

they make some gun OP

and then nerf it

I don't like this about Smoky -_- it was part of the game.

it was not part of the game originally only happen when increased physics came out.

so it was an added extra from the original concept . be happy you have it at all.
