Let’s discuss the adjusted parameters for Railgun, Smoky and Shaft

  • Wasps and rails getting flipped was a direct result of the fact the turrets are now affected by impact.
  • So why take away impact force from rail and smokey?  And why not hammer, it was doing more flipping then smokey.
  • The solution was real simple, remove the effects of impact from the turrets.
  • the impact was useful more a lot more than flipping wasps and hornets, it was useful for knocking off aim of heavier hulls, now that is not as affective.
  • put the impact force back in the weapons and remove it's effect from the turrets, real simple and everyone is happy. 

Or was the whole thing done for some different reason that we are not being told about?

Awesome update for the rail and smoky.

 

Rail : it wasn't funny before this update seeing many tanks in an xp battle flipped (sandbox for instance) we just run for there flag however i like this update. since i don't have to worry much for being flipped easily with my sturdy hornet.

 

Smoky that's even better . whenever smokys showed up in a battle in numbers i simply leave i can't do much against

Obviously running for a flag only doesn't do much.

 

Why don't you try to think of a strategy not to get flipped.. it's not that hard you know

 

People should think that they want to get better, not stay at the same level and bring down everyone to what they are.

 

In XPs, everyone has the same equipment. Everyone. You shouldn't have any problems, since if they can flip you, you can flip them as well.

 

I don't think just because you flip easy doesn't mean everyone does.

Its funny seing all the smoky/railgun users raging when sometime ago, when the thunder's stats were rebalanced and it lost power and impact force, I did the same and they told me "deal with it" :D :D :D :D now you deal with it my friends, specially the awesome guys who think that its funny to flip their own team mates to get the flags for themselves.

 

My only thought is "when will they do the same to ricochet and hammer?", because its impossible to shoot straight when taking fire from them...

 

For those who want to parkour its obviously not so good, but lets keep in mind this is a battle game, not a parkour game, and people are getting really tired of getting into battles, specially in Noise, and there is always 2 or 3 guys parkouring to get to the top of the house on the red base, just to get an advantage on the Gold Box drop and not doing anything to help (removing that Gold Box dropsite would be great).

 

That being said, great update, can't wait for the next one ;)

Yay let's all nerf the weapons impact force so it's equivalent to Isida

The problem was not in the gun's knock back but the knock back system in general. Knock back should decrease over range and not completely equal when hitting a tank from point-blank to across the map shots.

Even though the impact force of the smoky has been reduced, It still stays as my favorite gun. But you have to note that impact force was smoky's main weapon and reducing it is just like giving giraffe a small neck...

If you're not going to undo this update, I think I speak for ALL Smoky users when I say:

 

Give us a refund, because you just ruined Smoky.

 

Um no, your not speaking for smoky users, nothing has changed much with smoky, it works just fine and i can still knock railgun hammer you name it off aim very easily

FAILgun's impact force is really annoying and one little change done with smoky n all people crying. Look at shaft. I wish I could sell my crap (shaft).

Shaft's snipe mode impact force is 8.00

1 thing to say about this update. YOU HAVE RUINED PARKOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is so stupid, i found the new physics update very ridiculous, this update is of that 1/2 less the impact it takes to flip a tank, it was so easy to flip tanks with no care no effort and it was really annoying, now you need skill to do that, so parkour was basically irrelevant before the new physics update and after this one? Give me a break

Off course running for flag is much when u play a 7 flag xp game and most of ur enemy tanks r flipped u run for there flag duhhhh!!!!!!!!.

 

As for "bring everyone down" the auto aim for turrets is a new update. it is not like it was there forever and u will lose some

Hard learned skills by removing it. in fact it made flipping others easier and u should be content for it's reduction.

Now u can flip them only with skill. 

 

i don't have a problem being flipped but in xp battles since last update i see most of the tanks in my team and the other team spending 1/4th of there time just self destructing. last update made flipping easier so yeah there is tactics to avoid being flipped  but seeing most of the 2 teams self destructing alot is not fun.
