Let’s discuss the adjusted parameters for Railgun, Smoky and Shaft

With the introduction of the auto-aim feature for enemy turrets, light hulls started flipping over too frequently when hit by Railgun or Smoky. This was especially noticeable in format battles.

We analyzed player feedback and decreased the impact force of Railgun and Smoky. Now, flipping over a Wasp or a Hornet is still possible, but it requires some skill!

We’ve also increased the acceleration of Shaft’s scope in sniping mode.

BTW,smoky's knockback was the main element of the gun.You decreased that tho.

Why can't this just be done in format battles? In main battles its fun to flip the enemy and easily knock their aim off, therefore it takes skill to correct your aim.

@Jazz20: Perhaps. I guess they're trying to get the Machine gun in, wait several months, and then another Rebalance patch.

After all, they still have to see how big of an impact the Paints will play.

I feel that adjustng the smoky and railguns knockback is a bad idea, and feel this comes only from people that play XP/BP format (which I personally dislike) and not fair to the rest of the games characteristics. I truely think the smoky knockback was a great feature to the turret allowing the user to defend himself from a railgun. In addition I think the railgun having the ability to flip someone was a greeat defence tactic aswell. I truely believe this change should be if any...set to the XP/BP matches since this is the true source behind all the feedback against it!
