Shafts, Railguns and ranks: No. 

Railguns: I favour it.

Shafts: I don't use it.

Ranks: Affects clan trainings

Why don't they change this in format battles? thats what players wanted.. There was no need to do something to smoky

This seems fairly balanced. Railgun isn't game-breakingly stupid anymore, and Smoky's knockback, you have to admit was pretty OP. Being able to inflict like ~300 impact force per 1.5 seconds? yikes. Every other update seems appropriate.

I think this was unfair to smoky and for railgun I think not as bad.

When was the last time you saw a smoky flip someone? Oh wait... it never has flipped anyone! Smoky's impact force needed no change. Its high impact force was actually a strong characteristic of the turret. But now maybe them smokys won't be murdering my Railgun... 

Railgun's impact force... if its impact force just never affected team-mates, then no change would have been needed. I think the main reason or this nerf was to stop the so called 'same team flippers'. But then parkourists would go crazy. I like railgun's earlier impact force. I had just bought M2 a week ago, partly because of the updated auto aim allowing me to flip people. But the new impact force isn't that bad. I flipped a stationary M2 hornet that was sitting on flat ground easily. 

But if you care about realism, (which the developers admittedly don't, along with most players) the new impact force is way more realistic. A tank has never been flipped by another tank's cannon. Tanks weigh about a 100,000 pounds, usually much more. The Abrams weighs 120K. Even if there was a gun strong enough to flip something totally upside down that weighed 100,000 pounds or more (which no gun can) it wouldn't flip a tank. Such an impact force from a tank round would just cut cleanly through the armor and go out the other side, or if the armor was strong enough (it would have to be about a foot or two of armor, I'm guessing) simply tear the turret off of the tank. There is practically no scenario where a tank round could flip another tank. 

 

I honestly don't care about the new map. It would be nice of tanki to add some new maps that were actually new and unique, and preferably made by players. This was just the holiday map that they added to the game. They were too lazy to make an entirely new map...

 

The updated rank limits: Not terrible, not terrible at all. I play a lot of maps where annoying WOs are driving M0s (not even M1s) against M2s and sometimes even M3s. Good players told them over and over again to leave but they never did. But this problem doesn't happen that frequently. If you want to play a map with lower rank limits, then just adjust the rank limits yourself when you create a map! Its extremely possilbe to narrow down the rank bar when creating a map. This new update makes it even harder to play with your friends. With the removal of private battles from being easily accessed, and the steady adjustment of rank limits it is really hard to play with your friends, and that is the main reason I even play this game any more. 

 

I wish that instead of having rank limits, have equipment limits. I wish I could create an only M1-M2 battle, or M2-M3. I see just as many brigadier+ ranks who still drive M1s as I do WOs.

Smoky - Nooooo..... *Bangs head on wall* second highest impact force in a single projectile, deal with it it's still menacing, and it honestly should have been nerfed with the new physics engine
