Reduce self distruct time

there must be reduction in the self distruct time as many players flipped many times even in 15 minutes battle and with rail and smoky with good impact can easily make light hulls upside down sometimes even medium hulls gets in upside down position ......its very annoying to wait for 10 seconds.......i think self distruct time shoud be 5 or 6 seconds,........

Why? If you are flipped, then you have to wait for the Tow Truck.

They already decreased the time from 15 to 10, I am grateful for what they did do.

noo bro after removal of crystals boxes players are really fighting hard for every flag as its the only way to earn cry .......ansd this self distruct time is really annoying when tank gets flipped many times in 15 minute battle and many times during gold when tank is taking rebirth then due to this good for nothing 10 seconds self destruct time tanker dont even get a chance for gold....

noo bro after removal of crystals boxes players are really fighting hard for every flag as its the only way to earn cry .......ansd this self distruct time is really annoying when tank gets flipped many times in 15 minute battle and many times during gold when tank is taking rebirth then due to this good for nothing 10 seconds self destruct time tanker dont even get a chance for gold....

So? If tankers have the smarts to flip tanks so they have a better chance of getting the Gold, then I applaud them.

am talkin about the moment its announced that gold is gooing to drop and unfortunately our tank gets flipped and till the time tank is in  rebirthing state ....gold is taken by someone .........

am sure in soon self destruct time will be reduced ......as tanki is getting boring and this is **** self destruct time is very annoying

The problem with self destruction is that it is a deliberate act.  A deliberate act that can be used to advantage, a, on big maps in order to get back to base quickly when in enemy territory.  b, To regenerate with full power when previously had low power.  c, To deny an opponent of a potential score  If time to regenerate was reduced the unfair advantage would be greatly enhanced.

 

Flipping is generally the fault of the flipped player, not taking enough care.  For instance, diving over a ledge to gain positional advantage or being pushed by a cumbersome impatient team player.  Being flipped by an opponent is a risk of war and it might be down to playing with a hull that is far too light.  Wasp and Hornet are easily flipped and should expect to be vulnerable against strong opponents but is chosen because they are very fast.  That is just a calculated or careless risk depending on ones mind set.

 

It could be argued that regeneration after self destruct should be lengthened because it is often employed deliberately for the reasons I have given above.

Yes, exactly! You should put it as like 5-3 seconds. If you flip at a bad time (When gold drops, when you have the flag) Then you want to get back on your tracks as fast as possible. Nobody likes it when they're sitting upside down, spinning their turret around uselessly while they watch the enemy return the flag, or someone else get the gold. If it was 5-3 seconds, then we could just get back on our tracks immediately and continue with the game. And, some people might say its our fault we flipped, so we should get punished. But its not all the time. Sometimes an enemy flip you, sometimes a roller on your team comes and messes you up, and you cant control it. And now, thanks to the dumb troller on your team, you have to sit there waiting to self destruct. And that unintentional flipping brings up another point: how we lose points for self destruct. I know, its only 5, but sometimes that could mean the difference between 1st and 2nd place, 1000 battle fund or only 800. And, as I said, if its not even OUR fault we flipped, why should our score go down!? Make it go down none at all, or like 2/3.

This has been very well disused on many occasions but it was always pointed out that self destructing should not benefit the destructor in game play.  Then the discussions closed down after a little run of rants. :lol:

what you are saying is correct but as u know we all are here to enjoy game and everyday we come here and give suggestions to have better game play......dnt u think its frustating that in 15 minute battle tankers get flipped many times and u know gold just  drops in average 12 seconds and flipping at that time make us very sad that now the gold box drop time is also reduced and self destruct time is equal to the time of gold box drop so its vety unfair to all of us .......plz think the other way .....and self destruct time of 5 or seconds is fair enough ....

It is equally annoying to have a slow stable tank and watch those with fast unstable tanks take the goods.  Those with light tanks want their cake and to eat it as well! :D  :P

10 seconds is too much for this game .......5 or 6 seconds is ok......with the departure of cry boxes its very hard to earn cry and all trying to play hard ..........so this long seconds self destruct time has to be reduced...........for the better game play ...

We shall just have to disagree.  People self destruct or all sorts of reasons.  They take risks that don't pay off, they fall off a ledge, they get bowled over by an over exuberant team mate, they use lightweight unstable tanks to get ahead get knocked over by an opponent.  They are doing badly in hostile territory on a large map their opponent escapes to get your flag. he is even faster. you self destruct to arrive back base before he does.  What is fair in that as it is it is still possible,do you also want time to collect supplies as well!  What is such a hurry, is life that short.  I believe it should take longer on self destruct to regenerate to offset advantage why should an attacking player be robbed of kill point.  Some want to self destruct when damaged because they have no supplies or wont buy them so they regenerate with full life.   All of this has been said before, their is nothing new on this thread from any others expressed over the last year or so.

still i say 10 seconds is too long ......to have better game play many players want it to be reduced.......so am sure it will happen in future for sure........ ;)
