A mortar shooting turret?

This turret would shoot mortars which could have splash damage like Thunder, damage would be high but would only shoot once before a reloading time similar to Railgun.   Also it would only aim up or down instead of left or right to use as a long range weapon to bombard the enemy.

This is just an idea I thought Tanki could have but I don't know if it is possible.  Please comment as feedback would vastly make this idea popular to the developers if it is any good.

This idea has been suggested multiple times and every time declined. Unfortunately, the developers are refusing to work on a ballistic turret, which will shoot up and over obstacles, despite the fact that it would be very interesting. This won't be added any time soon.
