Paints with Hammer protection!

NOTE: if one of you buys one of these paints, u will dominate hammers but thunders, rails and freezes will massacre you!

If the balance of paints shift to majority hammer, every turret has a paint that counters it, so again not necessarily, it depends

In response the part about how two paints can have similiar resistances: It's because certain protections work well together.

For instance: 40% Fire 40% Shaft 40% Twins protects you from short, mid, and long ranges. However, there isn't enough versatility in each range to be worthwhile. If I am facing short ranged turrets I'd want a paint like this: 30% Fire 30% Freeze 30% isida 20% hammer. Of course, paints can't start that way, but they CAN start like this 10% Fire 10% Freeze 5% Isida. Certain protections work together to create the near perfect paint for the situation you're facing.

 

Also, they can't just raise the protection of a few paints without changing most of the others, bumping the fire protection on Prodigi would make it overpowered, doing so would mean that corrections must happen elsewhere or the change must be reversed.

 

I think you should give a little more thought to your paint idea and post it in a topic. See what kind of response you recieve, and maybe you can refine the idea before presenting it to the developers. Good luck ;)

Hey there.

Thanks for the feedback. I know paints are a tricky topic when it comes to new ideas and the such, I take your points onboard as good thoughts too. I have to say however that my point about Prodigi getting Fire resistance up wouldn't make it overpowered in my opinion. Look at Taiga. That has 4 protections that are all pretty strong and good when maxed. Yet it is a paint that you can die in quite easily given the circumstances of a battle. 

 

Using Prodigi, you can still die quite easily from Isida or Twins or other turrets (Hammer in particular). So, yes there are a variety of paints that prove useful for close-mid-long range battles. I think though that perhaps a bit of flexibility in selecting your own resistances for your particular battle format and map might be a nice touch for Tanki developers to consider... You have to admit that by now with all the loads of paints in the garage, it is getting confusing (and expensive) to have adequate selections of paints to choose from to protect your tank with. And most times you simply die instantly in big battles anyway no matter what paint you have on. It would be nice to last a while... like maybe 3-5 minutes or more instead of maybe 0-1 minute, LOL.  :P

any paint is not perfect,that why we have so many paints,every paint is perfect for a battle situation

for example inferno when in a Sandbox CP are fire and freeze,but the inferno users gets killed easy by thunders....

when many thunders,the best is emerald and so on

you have to choose the paint which fits best the battle situation

Thanks for paints. Tiger looks awesome~I might just get it for its looks. Vulcan protection would be awesome on tiger (because I'm so gonna get Vulcan).

 

Btw, I agree with bringing out some cool kits again, like the ones with m3s a couple ranks before u normally can get them.

I love the paints but you making the prices to high for average people to afford  to buy the paints there is no way unless you working but most people who play tanki cant buy the paints or wepons cause they dont have a real job to buy crystals only thing they can rely on is what they win and get after ranking .. I think you really need to do somthing to make earning and affording paints and weapons better for all players no matter the rank..

bad the paint did not like ... Faces and poor tiger protection should have been hammer Tuxedo and thunder and all MU 50% with poor nano paint protection and face paintings hammer against bad guns.
