Turning The Turrret

Recommended Posts

Hey!

I have wondered of why the turrets only go side to side instead of up and down.

So my Idea is that the turrets can be moved up and down and side to side. :)  :)  :)

What do you think???

Absolutely, they aught to go up and down.  It would be visually more exciting  and they could get rid of auto aim when the barrels moved up and down.  Also some shots made over ramps are totally impossible.  Often tanks just edge the very tip of the barrel over the lip of the ramp and yet the shell will dip right down and hit anything in its new path.  The shot aught to follow the line of the barrel.  Of course auto aim does all of this for them. :o  :D

That would make the game a LOT more difficult unless a crosshair is to be added to help with the aiming. Furthermore, most people are used to playing with the keyboard (as there is no other option yet), so with the manual vertical aim update you would either have to force all current players to use the mouse for aiming or have them use the keyboard for vertical AND horizontal controls. Both of these options are equally bad.

Sure, but like the fact that it would be a challenge and personally I like the challenge but I do not know about the other players if they want the challenge or not. -_-  -_-  -_-

This will make our game unnecessarily complicated. Besides, why would you need to do that? Never try to make something, if you can live without it.
