Does hammer need reworking?

Its has come to my attention that certain aspects of hammer are insanely unbalanced, for example the knock back is strong enough to flip a viking in a wave, or can send hornets flying. For this reason many players a going round and shooting their own team mates <_<  <_<

I think hammers reload needs a slight increase, more like 2.2 secs so a good thunder player still has a chance.

The multing teammates part is annoying, but otherwise I don't think the stats need much tweaking. Hammer's limited by its very short range; if you stay out of it, you should have no problem fighting them with Thunder. On maps like Wave, sure, it's very strong, but the other close range weapons are strong there too.

Well its true and at the same time not true, firebird m2 mounted on a viking will always be at the mercy to hammer m2 on viking on top of that it has 60 m range instead of 20 and getting close enough isnt hard.

Hammer isn't THAT OP. You're incredibly vulnerable after you fire off three shots. At least if you run out of jet fuel (or whatever they put in Firebird) with Firebird you get about 1s of firing time to dissuade any enemies that come to get you.

It works for me both wayys.

i am good with hammer,  but when i play team deathmatch or capture the flag my team mates started fliping their self with powerful weapons like hammer and railgun, so i think hammer needs reworking

  • Hammer has limited fire distance
  • Hammer's shots spread out a lot if the enemy is not right next to them
  • Hammer has long reload after the three shots.

I think with all these disadvantages in mind Hammer is actually quite a balanced turret.

but I think the factor that troubles most players is its impact force, which has the ability to knock over even your own team-mates. If they changed smoky :( and railgun, then why don't they change hammer?

Because it's Hammer's feature and it only works at really close range. Don't want to get knocked over? Don't get close.

If they try to flip you over, then yes. You should also fie a complaint on them by using the /vote command. I'm afraid nothing else can be done to fight with saboteurs at the moment.

Once A Tanker Named UlitimateDestroyer Came With Hammer And Flipped Us Everytime We Spawn .

I Used The /vote Command 2 Times And Also Another Tanker Used It ....

The Result :-

 

 

No One Came To Help And We Flipped A Lot Of Times  <_< 

No One Came To Rescue And Coming To The Point It IS Hammer After All Used To Flip Own Teammates .  <_<  <_<

So you want to remove the knock back because some players use this on teammates?

 

This is ridiculous.

 

I never saw anybody use the teammates to flip teammate so far.

 

And if you saw it, it's one tanker out of 100.

No the knock back is to much, and i want a slight increase in reload time, as for u, ur at high ranks, so mults don't reach ur level also your probably a spastic buyer.

Lets remove Shaft, Hammer, Rail, smokey, as they all can do the exact same thing. It is not the weapon that is the problem, it is the players. If someone is doing this repeatedly, record them with a video recorder and report in the Game Violations Section.

Aside from the fact that it's already been re-worked. I don't feel a need for another reworking. But I feel Vulcan needs a bit of reworking on its auto-aim feature. Concerning if you wish to move while shooting when you stop for a second the hulls starts rotating so it takes the user some seconds to make it right and start moving again and sometimes you move diagonally and sideways while moving as if you're not even controlling the turret. Really does need re-working in my opinion.
