Problems"

1. At long range too powerful, you need to dramatically decrease the amount of damage it does at long range, like, by a lot, like as much as you decrease thunders power at long range.

2. When it heats up either you need to make it do more damage or you make the time before you shoot again once you stop when heated up longer, because otherwise that's not really a big factor.

3. Mammoth+Vulcan= :(

Mammoth+Vulcan+Drugs=REPORT THIS IS INSANITY

4. When a wasp uses it and backs up it falls on its back.

Few things I Like:

I like how short range weopans can beast it

Edit: I like how freeze cools it down. Didn't check if isida does.

I like how it is fun to camp now

I like watching hulls get twin+Vulcan+ railgun combo and do twirly backflips

Wait, almost forgot something important.

Twins will not exist after this. Period. Either make the twins more powerful, nerf Vulcan, or remove the twins or not keep the Vulcan, because if both exist twins will go extinct.  It is just way to inferior :(

Well, I cannot say I'm impressed with the vulcan. Perhaps test server glitches messed me up here and there, but sometimes it seemed to kill too fast (as in overpowered), other times it seemed to never kill (as in way underpowered). It would be good if the test server allowed no supplies at all, so as to see just the effects of the weapons.

100M crystals is cool. Let's me fully MU as fast as I can click the buttons (for speedups, or for in-battle instant upgrades). It was nice to see it at full M3+.

Still, it seems to have much too much recoil and knockback. Tornado wasps has already been mentioned. I saw a wasp flip itself 1.5 full rotations, landing upside down.

Overall, I think I will not consider buying it. I have already put every turret (most not M'd up yet) so far in my garage, EXCEPT that worthless shaft. I might try to get on the test server again, and I may change my mind after seeing the final release in regular battles, but at the moment, it looks like something that will amuse the players that aren't that interested in helping their team win. I'm not sure it will be a good deathmatch weapon either, especially since it seems best suited for the largest hulls. Might be good for CP on the big hulls.

We shall see.

The play of it, the sound, the look, the overheat, all seem fairly good to quite good, but I am not convinced the weapon will be a good addition to a team in CTF. I don't like the long-delay spin-up, but I got used to it. It is a reasonable characteristic.

While the hammer is not one of my favorite turrets, it is a good addition to the game, suiting a particular playing style. I have yet to see what vulcan will add to the game.

I expect many players will not like the vulcan, but I expect some will become devoted fans.

Like the hammer, I suspect vulcan will have its share of immature users trying to flip teammates.

yes i agree ... I think you should decrease the damage to 60hp ... ( there is that deadly Impact force and the speed ! -- and if it gets hot every second Hp goes down by 75 ...

I briefly tested Vulcan, it's a fun gun, I think kids will enjoy it for its fun factor, but its not a game changer turret, damage is not anything compared to the recently released Hammer (so OP), it is easy to avoid getting hit with nitro even with Viking, especially if the shooter is moving.

personally I would much rather seen Vulcan as an auto sentry turret as part of the map for players to avoid and possibly disable for short periods of time.

I don't think that will be the case.  Also, if you notice, the tank only gets really hot after you stop shooting, usually meaning that your opponent, the freeze has died.

Also notice the difference in colour from overheating from firebird and from this turret.  This turret is more like burning from within which freeze wouldn't be able to help.

Thanks for the info, very detailed =)

Anyone can answer that question?

Is vulcan immune against freeze effect while burning?

Yes having a freeze in team can help you out but it is only for a short while instead your team must need isidia to heal u up when you get over heated so if you get a isidia behind u and Start Drugging in a CTF then your a God in that battle
