Sadly at present  many are just playing around on test server & not using it for the right reasons -_-

True, but that 's just the way it is.

It 's a matter of picking a time when few players are online.

Trying it now will only lead to frustration.

It`s a fun turret

i found that even with a viking it throws me back with nobody around

it wont replace ricochet or twins on small maps

as from exp they still are king

it`s a medium map turret or large 1.

It needs a great effect when hitting other tanks & i think the explosions need to be great overall

more impressive & the WOW!!!!! factor

the bullets when hitting others seems like a small pea shooter  TBH

& with a chaingun you see the bullets falling out of the gun at the side

unlimited ammo does not happen

it should be you buy clips of say 1000 rounds each time

but you should be able to get in the other servers at some point today

many are using them at present :)

..

& certainly does not have a gyroscope function

In real tanks the normal turret is stabilized by something like a gyroscope, so the tank can shot wihle driving over small bumps.

But I only read that this is more up/down stabilization.

As the driver and the turret guy are two different guys, you can be for sure that the turning is also stabilized (no idea if gyroscope or not), so that if the driver takes a short curve left or right, the turret guy can stressless aim on his targets.

Terrible gun, so many disadvantages.

1st, the weapon start's slow... which can be adapted but you are screwed in so many situations because of it.

2nd, try moving and shooting at the same time, it gets really hard to control after just a couple seconds ESPECIALLY on a wasp or hornet. Rotation is just garbage.

3rd, it self destructs..

You really need to fix some things up, this weapon can't compete with anything else.

You really want to be killed in 3 seconds on main servers don't you?

Like most, I believe impact force and recoil are entirely too large. Getting a Dictator to wheelstand was hilariously easy, even for an amateur such as myself. In addition, my Dictator was once rolled over in a battle, I was not firing at the time. Once a wasp is on its side one may roll it over and over and over again.

I would like it if there was some momentum added to the gun barrel with regards to spinning. Instead of stopping instantly after the spacebar is released the barrel the retain some circular speed so that if the spacebar is pressed again after a short while the time Vulcan takes to "spin-up" is shorter.

Like hammer, I also have a bit of trouble determining  exactly where the Vulcan is aimed. Close range is no trouble, but beyond medium range, it becomes rather difficult to tell.

The gyroscope effect is a unique idea, and it is representative of everything that keeps this game new and exciting for me. Unfortunately, I don't like it. I believe this effect would be excellent on a one-shot-at-a-time weapon, such as thunder or railgun. Because Vulcan is a "spraying" weapon, there is a need to adjust aim quickly, on the fly.

First thoughts, there'll be more when servers aren't so crowded.

So really your not sure?

& it really does no need 1 now

that`s if it`s used on a tank maybe not a truck mounted  chaingun or a helicopter gun.

Actually the gyroscope on the vulcan hinders it quite a lot rather than help

but if people like it then that`s good for them

after testing it would be much better if it did not have a GS

what about an option to switch on/off gyroscope for the gun in the menu?

Second that. It would be "off" the whole time... ;)

Without gyroscopic aim it would be most definitely the next turret in my garage.

That would be a M2 Vulcan at a low-ranked alt account.

(talking about a Rank gap: will definitely be big steps micro-upgradable

this Vulcan at M2)

Gyroscopic aim is what distinguishes the Vulcan from the other turrets,

so little chance this switch on/off option gets implemented.
