More options for parkour mode

Recommended Posts

It's really good that we have a parkour mode, but it needs to be improved. Here are my suggestions to make it better:

Unlimited Supplies

Supplies are an important part of parkour and without them, doing parkour is really hard or even impossible. The current system allows you to enable your supplies instantly after they are timed-out. But what if you don't have any supplies, or you don't want to waste them thinking you'll need too many supplies to manage doing a trick. It's not always possible to do a trick with one try and if that trick requires extra power, you are gonna waste way many supplies, so we should be able to have unlimited supplies in parkour mode. We don't get any crystals or experience points in parkour mode anyways.

Supply on/off

Imagine you are doing a trick with your supplies enabled. But on the middle of your trick, you need to shoot someone without killing but you have double power enabled. Also, you have to shoot now or the trick will be ruined, but you have recently enabled it and still need to wait some for the supply to be automatically disabled. Now what can you do? Of course nothing. So, we need an ability to turn our supplies off without waiting form them to time-out. How? Just by hitting 1,2,3 or 4 button while the supplies are enabled.

Dropping Gold box

What videos are the best ones? Of course, gold box videos! There are many interesting gold box videos on YouTube. In some of them players are catching them by doing cool parkour tricks in battles. For example, in the past V-LOG, a railgun shoots another tank and flips it and the tank jumps in the air and catches the gold. It was an amazing video. He must have been very lucky because such conditions aren't usually together, so such videos are rare. Wouldn't it be better if we could drop 0 crystal worth gold boxes (in parkour mode of course) whenever we want to wherever we want? Of course, it would! We could make lots amazing videos. That gold boxes wouldn't give any crystals or experience points. How? Something like this can be implemented to the game:

Unlimited Micro Upgrades/remove Micro Upgrades

Some parkour tricks require extra power from your turret or hull even with supplies. The only solution for that is Micro Upgrades, of course, but they are paid and not cheap at all. So, wouldn't it be great if we could temporarily Micro Upgrade our equipments for free just to use in parkour mode? Of course if would! That would let player to get more impact force, weight, etc. which would help them a lot while doing a trick.

Also, sometimes, when doing a parkour trick, extra power might ruin it, so we should also be able to remove our Micro Upgrades temporarily in parkour mode.

Please upvote, more ideas are coming soon!

For the second idea: Managing your supplies and their timing is an important skill in parkour. There are multiple ways you can go around this and actually make your trick more skilled. You can wait for the supply to just about be finishing and do the trick so that the supply runs out in mid-air just in time. You can make the player that you shoot wear a protective paint and armour. You can make them be on the same team.

P.S. I don't see why you would need this. If you need to shoot someone without killing them just make sure you never activate double damage and you'll be fine.

I wrote it as an example

More ideas:

In Parkour, the timer for Self-Destruct should be removed altogether.

In Parkour, the timer for garage equipment should be removed.

In Parkour, supplies should be limitless. (As you suggested.)

In Parkour, damage should be removed completely, but the impact force would remain.

In Parkour, these ideas would be beneficial to tankers who want to know that they won't waste their time joining ANY parkour map..
