Tanki Developer for a Day

Many people play Tanki today; although, some people have quit in the past, but more join every day. When tankers are playing they have their own fighting styles. Some prefer long to mid-ranged combat, while others prefer to get in close and take a risk with close-ranged combat. Unfortunately, when the little glitches, and program rewrites, stand in the way of one’s success it is infuriating. Some problems that occur are weaponry malfunctions, misfire kills, and alterations in battlefields.

Weaponry malfunctions are not common in Tanki online, but this does not mean they do not happen. Some players have discovered that when they press the key to fire, their tank does not fire. But rather a minute later a random shot would have been made. This is very annoying to those who have a Railgun, Thunder, and/or Smokey. This is because these turrets only have one shot rounds. As opposed to using the one shot on another tank, it is wasted on a random space. This problem can easily be resolved if the precision on the turrets are refined.

When someone fires their turret and does not hit another tank, that other tank still explodes. This is not possible, unless one takes Murphy’s Law into account. These misfire kills take place with the Railgun, Twins, and Ricochet. The clear blue or orange blast, from a Railgun, will race past a player but still kill them. The Twins and Ricochet have a different problem. Once the two turrets start firing at another tank, the tank will still continue to constantly take damage from the blasts. The area for confirmed blast impact needs to be more precise.

Alterations in battlefields are another important matter. In the Serpuhov there is a ledge at the top of the battlefield. This ledge is more commonly known as Sniper’s Point. From here players like to equip a Shaft and aim at opposing tanks that come along. Unfortunately, the pathway to Sniper’s Point has been blocked off. When players try to cross these barricades they are unable to do so because it requires a three man team. Many tankers understand the risk of going up there. A smarter idea would be to expand the range of Self-Destruct away from the ledge, or put more terrain down connected onto the existing ledge. Another possibility would be to put a couple of signs with skulls and cross bones as a precaution. These are better alternatives then excluding a popular area on a map.

A player’s fighting style is unique. It is very hard to use unique fighting styles when the ability to do so is taken away. The glitches in the game are very frustrating to both players and developers. For players play the game and the developers have to test the program. When one has faulty weaponry, dies from a misfire towards them, or cannot go somewhere specific in a battlefield it is very difficult to achieve perfect success. These situations have been seen and experienced by players.

So, how are we gonna stop it? Well, we need you tankers! We need you to take videos or pictures and report.

Well that's not enough, eh? Well that's why we having added a new, in-game video system. See a hacker, go up to the top right corner, press the newly added camera icon, and the video will start, and can go up to 3 minutes.

Here are the details of the new system:

1. You will not keep the videos. Don't use this for video of the week. use it for hackers only.

2. Do not abuse the system. If misused you will be banned for 3 days.

3. You will be able to view the videos before they are sent. Therefore, if you didn't catch the hacker don't send it.

4. Do not use this for chat violators.

5.These videos will be sent to a special team of developers, which will make the final call

This video system has taken a long time to be inserted into Tanki. Please give us the feedback that we know you will have!

Rewards For Banning Hackers:
1. For every hacker you ban you get 5000 crystals

2. Those that ban the most hackers in a week will receive 'Hack Ender of the Week' prize, and gain an extra 10000 crystals. This will be shown on the video of the week

a few problems in tank-i online lets get started, crystals you spend them you earn them but

what you don't know is that when there is going to be a sale for them or a sale to spend them right?

would you like to fix that problem,probably.

make a Tank-i online calender set in you garage
check it whenever you feel like there is going to be a sale or curios
keep up with updates and holidays
tournament checking easier
save up for sales

and most importantly cyber bullying it needs to stop

so if you cyber bully each time you lose 1000 crystals.

As of today, from 02:00 UTC

I have decided to make some changes you may enjoy.

Every player will receive 300000 crystals, all items will be available for purchase in your garage, but you must use them today only, at which point they will disappear, this is your chance for that dream tank. Spend it wisely.

From today forward, all battle funds will be increased by 50% for all ranks.

Gold boxes will be 1000 crystals to the player who captures it; all the other players in that battle will receive 500 crystals.

No Supply Passes will now be tiered, 1000 crystals for low ranks, 2500 crystals for mid ranks, and high ranks at 5000 crystals.

I have selected 5 servers, each of these servers will feature a 1 of 5 maps that has lost popularity, and these maps will have funds increased by a further 25%.

Spectator option to watch ongoing battles will be available for purchase on a monthly basis for 50000 crystals. It will also be awarded occasionally in daily gifts for one day spectator passes. No need to worry, the view is one minute behind actual gameplay so there is no chance of foul play.

All forum members will now have an avatar of their choice. You can choose any combination of hull and turret as well as the paint of your choice with the option of a male or female Tanker commanding it.

The forum will now have prize matches for members logged into the forum, you will see a “Prize match occurring now” just click on “JOIN” and you will be sent a link to your forum PM, just follow and it will take you to the battle.

Games will be determined by your garage, M1s will battle against M1s, M2s against M2s, and M3s against M3s.

You will be sent directly to the map, you can discuss with your randomly selected team-mates tactics for 10 minutes, you are free to enter garage during that time, but if you leave the battle you cannot re-enter and the next player on the list will get the spot.

All players will receive prizes for participation; such as supplies, passes, or crystals, and battle fund of course, the winning team will share an additional 5000 crystals above the standard fund.

I know many players enjoy the game chat to hang out, NOW you too can catch GOLD boxes, occasionally you may see a Gold box fall across the screen, click on it, and you will be sent to a link, where there will be a set of questions, answer them as quick as you can and hit enter, If you are the first to answer them all correctly in the fastest time, the GOLD is yours.

So I heard you want to be a developer? I have been a senior developer for Tanki for several years now, as one of the original founders from the very beginning. I have been through it all. I have been through the highs and the lows, the suffering and the glory. I know you think my life is all fun and games, but I tell you the truth, a developer sacrifices so much. I sacrificed so much.

You would never understand.

Understand what sacrifices my own father went through, that day when I sat him down, the strained look upon his leathery face as I whispered I was abandoning my degree in law to make a computer game, a computer game where I had no idea if it would sell.

Understand what sacrifices my own wife went through, her grim face of determination, as she brushes a stray hair out of her squinting face, head nodding off, trying her best to ignore the peeling wallpaper in our humble home as she stays loyally waiting for me to arrive home, every night, just so I could be greeted with a kiss when I step through the door.

Understand what sacrifices my own son went through, his entire life, raised by a father who spends his day making a game to bring joy to children around the world, but doesn't even have time to bring joy to his own son, who’s innocent childhood is now gone, forever.

Understand what sacrifices my own daughter went through, her teenage adolescence, yearning for a strong, father figure in her life as she battles the harsh bullying at school. But all she has for comfort is the long nights, and the dim, flickering lightbulb casting dark, wavering shadows across her unfinished homework.

Understand what sacrifices my own mother went through, her sunken cheeks masking her sunken heart, as she gives up meals just so she could write a tearstained check, afraid of the failure her son is heading towards.

Understand what sacrifices I had to go through, staring back into the laughing faces of my assumed “friends”, wiping away the spittle off my face, telling how terrible the idea would be, and me, staring at their retreating backsides, determined to prove them wrong.

You spend happy hours playing the game I developed, but you never really know what I surrendered to get you to this point.

You sit there on your computer screen, so caught up in the game, complaining about gameplay, crying about hackers, and screaming for 50% off discounts, while I wait, wistfully wasting away, reflecting on all the opportunities I have lost, sacrifices I have witnessed.

You would never understand; understand what it felt when I became a developer, to see my game thrive and grow into a beautiful community.

And I would never trade that for anything in the world.

So, here is my Entry:

Hello Tankers! In today's discussion, we are going to discuss some of the major feedback's of problems and the solutions we have proposed for them. Let’s hear a bit more about them.

Firstly, Communication Gap. We have received a lot of complaints from tankers who want to form a server involving players of only their region or language. To this, our developers have decided to allow players to select their language which enables them to type and chat in their own languages. The effectiveness of this is that even if the opposite player speaks a foreign language, the player will see his message in his own language, sort of an in-game translator. We hope this will increase the games connectivity and popularity.

Secondly, Time lapse. We have received complaints regarding forum and their deadlines where players of different time zones found it difficult to submit their posts on the last day of any forum contest. So we have decided to follow one and only one time zone for all regions, ie; the UTC. From now on, typing the ‘/thetime’ command will be enabled which will help players to know the exact time at which the contest ends and thereof. Moreover, we will also be adding the time to the forum to help players get an overall idea.

Thirdly, Game receptivity. It has been noted that players from regions such as Africa find it difficult to play due to weak signals. This causes their game to either disconnect or crash. To resolve this problem, our analysts have tried to create new servers for these regions. Currently they are working on the functionality of the server. We will keep you updated.

Fourthly, New supply. Recently we have shown you a lot of test boxes. Players have been complaining of whether we will be adding them to the game. Our answer: Our testers have selected 4 test boxes out of which one will be added to the game. Which one? Well it is up to you tankers to decide on the next step as in the next week we will be having a poll featuring these supplies. It is your turn to choose the next step in making gaming more fun.

Lastly, System for annoying players. Our chat and in-game moderators have noted quite a lot of mishaps that have occurred due to irresponsible tankers, they enter a game and either stay away in pause mode or flip teammates. This has caused a lot of inconvenience to potential players. So we have added a new system. In this system one just needs to type ‘/offense_Nickname’ and the player will be unable to chat, touch and hit you. However, this command can only be used in team battles. Also this command will be ineffective at the time of a gold box drop.

I hope that these new updates will help improve Tanki and add Flavors to this ever evolving Game. That’s all for the moment. We will be back with more updates, stay tuned.

Many problems are...that developers make changes that players dont like....But thing that i hate most is when i see jump hacker I vote him but nothing happens..So i found out that i can post it in forum..But i couldnt find it...I want to make security better.3 times someone hacked my account and buyed something i didnt wanted..That is why i want better security.I would adress this problems by better tanki security with no hackers..And developers listening to players problems and advices.I plan to play this game because its very fun,but it can be really stressfull when hackers are in the game.And if lags can be fixed and bugs more players would played.My friend told me that he dont like this game because of bugs and laggs....More players told me they will quit tanki becuase lags and bugs.I tell many friends to try playing Tanki...I tell on facebook to play...But most important is to tanki start comercials on TV-s because i see on tv many games that are interesting and i will start playing them...So as many others. Identified problems with the game

Most of the problem faced by the player is that the game is stuck in between playing and the screen becomes blank , and sometimes the server does not load properly and Another problem is faced by the player is that they don't know the power of mine ,like how we can say the power of turrets and hulls, like that the power of mine should be shown. When we play the battle we used to chat and the controls doesn't works.

How you would address these problems

I think these happen because of the slow internet connection even when the solution given by tanki online and when i used the mine it does not destroyed the tank ,but it did work for sometimes like that any upgrade for mine can be given .The chat and the battle playing both should be controlled at the same time.

What you plan for the future

we can make changes in the flag like flying flag ,the flag should fly according to the speed of the hull.

Horns in tanki can make the players to think that they are racing in it

new map for racing in tanki online can inspire the tank racing in it

In future tanki can may more easier way to use and find everything

in the menu battle list are shown where we can select the battle and play .in it battle list should be arranged lower rank than us, so it can make easy to play without searching the lower rank from our rank.

How you intend on increasing Tanki's popularity amongst gamers

When i played the tanki first time i feel very awesome to play and the next day i told my friends to play they also played and still playing i'm proud to be tanki online fan, we can make tanki popular by giving them a free trial to everyone without registration and giving them a free exiting gifts or crystal for the player who had won the contest of one day trial question

one day somehow my battle was not loaded properply.

i was not able to pickup supplies and flag.

tab and del button was also not working...

then when i greeted every1 "hi!"

VOILA! i used my repair kit !=1 [same key].

i wasted many more supplies cause i can't chat without !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

its best to have controls disabled than to waste supplies.

Today, tankers, we will talk about how, that hammer just can be great at restling. (Tho most important thing)

How you do it? Well you simply get a few people together with hammer and make them reallyyyy mad at each other so they start trying to flip each other. This will works great. Now we will talk about how freeze freezes, and how its annoying.... BLAH BLAH BLAH... Now, lets talk about some REAL problems. One of the probems, is that we have a thing in which railgun, takes to long and isnt soo overpowered when Osidianlover4242 uses it, everyon doesn't explode, and he become a Generalissimo, as this is a big problem. Many people have been complaining, and now we've fixed it. Ohh? You guys don't want Obsidianlover4242 to become super OP? Well... too bad. Word count: no idea, probaly too much. I just wanted to make a fun thing to read, not going for the win.

Greetings tankers! we have received a lot of problems from you and we have picked the major problems and found out the solution for them.

Here are they:-

>New servers- We have received that there is a lot of communication problem and lagging and slow server problem, so we are introducing new servers on the basis of countries. Now you would not be having a lot of problem and our moderator can easily do our job by staying in their respective servers belonging to that country and understanding situation no more banning without no reasons. Good for u ;)

>High prices in garage- There is a lot of complain from low ranked tankers that the garage items is very expensive and is very difficult for non-buyers but there are players who don’t buy crystals! And are very successful, it is all about planning, effort and skills. And the life without difficulties is not a life dear tankers. And additionally we are providing you opportunities such as Sales, Newspaper contests, increased battle funds, double battle funds, challenges etc. :)

> Private battles without pass- Many have informed and we noticed that our putting of pass for private battle made for u pass like a strong barrier well since there was problem in Clan wars and playing with your friends so we removed it. Have fun tankers. :D

>Invention of a new button for banning- We have seen that there is a lot of violation complaints in battles and some of you many times misses too get a proof to put it in violation section in the forum and low ranked tankers don’t know where is violation section too because of this we added a new button key “9” this button will capture the screenshot immediately and will send that screenshot to violation section. If you provide us a violator u will be getting 100 crystals as for a good job and if you press that button without any reason or by mistake the 100 crystals will be deducted from your account if you don’t have any crystals in account then it will be deducted in future when u earn 100 crystals. So be careful!

>New friend Box Feature- Now the tanki system has improved now onwards the friends whom you play with will be shown in top in the friend box no need of finding In the long list. It made a lot easier for you. :blush:

>New feature for banned players- Previously in tanki u were are confused how to tell your friends that you are banned and you want to know them that you are banned, now there is a ’X’ sign in front of the names of banned players. :ph34r:

And don’t forget that we have increased websites now u can even call your friends from Facebook, Twitter, etc. in inviting the friend option and now we have increased crystals you will get if your friend buys crystals whom u invited to tanki.

How to prevent it first we must not tell anyone your password,email it if its not valid email then we cant help you

our plan is to developed unity version and we try our best to make our player happy to play tanki how ? we read your feedback and try to help you and if that an usefull idea we maybe update it to the server.

our plan to make tanki popular is to put tanki in many games website so player will try new games and experience by the way we plan to make tanki gameplay video on youtube.

This is the latest update and newest problem.It's not pleasant as one is sent to arena absent of pleasable battles and friends.

4 Insults during battle is impious

Some tankers breach chat rules and insult others.It may hamper victim mentally and obviously the gameplay.

How to adress these problems?

1 Hacks

Vote the hacker.Make a 30 second video of the hacker and post it in violator section.Tanki online will reward the reporter.

2 Lag issues

Maintain a good internet connection of at least 252 KB/s.Keep your internet limited and safe because lags occur when mass uses a single connection at same time.Unfortunately lags are mandatory in bad weathers.

3 Changes in battle ranks

The update of this update will be done as soon as possible to redirect tankers to suitable arenas with pleasant number of battles and their friends.

4 Insults

Warning will be given earlier and banned may result in case of conventional insults.Causalty may take screen shots and report in chat violater section.For further ssafety one may disable chats from settings.

Future plans

Tankers will be awarded 10000 crystals on their birthday since registration.Player can type birthday once and if they want change they may contact help@tankionline.com but it costs 10000 crystals as fee.Tanki online along with other games support will riochet malware softwares such as cheat engine, cheat block and so on and so forth.

Pelfness of Tanki online

Currently Tanki online is miniclip's third most popular game.The other top two games are available in mobile version so Tanki will be made available to mobile version to uplift its position.The players numbers and time is sure to be pelfed with this effort.In future the garage prices will be decresed to some content so that it will be some what affordable to all.Drug and non-drug free battles will be created in normal modes to increase players enjoyment.
