New Turret Ideas

Just for the fun of it, what are some new turrets that you would like to see in the slightly distant future? Hammer was kind of repetitious of Thunder, but Vulcan was far different from anything. How about a gun that shoots a sticky bomb that either sticks directly to tanks and then blows up, or to walls and then damages nearby tanks. It could have about twice the damage of Thunder, but half the firing rate.

I would love to see two new guns:

  1. Rocket/grenade Launcher. Launches grenades upwards in a ballistic trajectory. They fly over obstacles/walls/buildings and hit enemy tanks. You have to time your shot and aim up/down to get the angle right.
  2. Tesla turret. Shoots lightning, which connects to other tanks (like Isida), but has much longer range and if there are other enemy tanks next to the one being attacked, the lightning will spread to them, dealing half the previous damage to every new tank in the chain.

I think Tanki Online should make a Rocket-Launcher. It is a high range weapon that can lock an enemy. When a tank is in the center of your pc you will lock him after +- 3 secs. When the enemy is locked you'r rocket will follow the tank. The turning speed is'nt to high neether the turning speed of the rocket. The rocket is pretty slow and doose high dmg.

You can dodge the rocket buy getting behind a house, wall,...

You can also shoot without locking.

Low reloading speed

High dmg

When you shoot for a second time on an enemy tank the dmg will be higher than the first time

Interesting, but the Tesla turret sound a lot like isaida.

What's the need of artillery/rocket launcher when shaft is given in game. Rocket launcher should be added to supplies. It will be cool to have a side rocket launcher pods on both sides of hull or just one.

Basically shaft is based upon artillery.

 

And about tesla turrets let dev's decide what's the best.
