Small visual graphic changes

Recommended Posts

Hi, I would like to suggest some small but cool changes in the graphics:

1. Isida should have a thicker beam when equipped with double damage/power, to make it look more threatening and strong.

2. turrets and hulls when hit with a certain gun(for example railgun) then it would make a blast/bullet/burn mark, depending on where it was hit.

3. burn marks for firebird should appear on walls or floors and stay for about as long as the twin's mark.

4. ice marks for freeze should also be like firebird's.

5. possibly track marks could be show for the different hulls, and depending on how heavy they are, that's how noticeable the tracks should be.

6. All of these(or which ever ones are picked) should be able to be disabled in the settings.

Can't wait for new comments! :)

I would hope that these and more are planned for the Unity Version.

However, I think that having bullet holes in tanks would be glitchy.

1. Or  maybe all turrets' shots could be slightly altered with dp? I do know that in the Unity version, the turrets themselves will look different, but I don't know about the shots.

2.Cool.

3. That does make sense. I can imagine seeing patches of blackened grass on the battlefield from Firebird.

4. So, patches of white as well? Sounds neat.

5. As of yet, we don't have tracks, but if we do get them in Unity, then that sounds like a great idea.

6. Smart.

Not really sure Tanki will care about what WO5 say. The only ever listen to high rankers. :(

Trust me, they ignore high rankers, too. Just look at Absolute Zero's "Kick2" idea.

Nah, they wouldn't glitch too bad. They could work like a temporary decal. The only problem I foresee is a tank getting so shot up that it's hard to see the nice paint anymore. Would health kits remove bullet holes?

My point is, the servers would have to keep track of where the bullet was and where it impacted, and the slightest programming error makes it glitch. Lag also presents a problem....

Yes they should get removed depending on what health the tank is at, and bullet holes do disappear over time

yes, well usually it's because the low ranks haven't played for very long and don't exactly know what they're talking about sometimes.

However, Rank does NOT decide how important the post is.

Btw I understand what you're saying and it has been known to be true
