There are several hacks coming back into the game, all of these hacks are basically the same as the ones that plagued the game before the anti cheat systems were implemented, these players are able to fool the anti cheat system to think they are running under normal conditions.

In my opinion this is either an inside job, where the players account is altered directly in the client like that of Godmode_on who was created by the Devs to play without setting off the anti cheat system, or the anti cheat system itself has been compromised, and is no longer functioning.

The other possiblity is that some Ex Dev or new Dev, has shared info on how to bypass the system, or less likely a rouge coder has figured out how to hack Tankis network on his own from outside the firewall.

 

Or North Korea

 

EDIT: After reviewing the video below, there is mention of a new anti cheat system in the works! How better to test this system than to allow cheaters into the game while testing the functionality of a new anti hack system.

We all know how they love doing Experiments

in fact they are quite common......

i once shot at a m1 wasp with my m2 rail WITH DOUBLE POWER and he still didnt die....

and no... i didnt miss cuz his tank recoiled backward cuz of the impact force.....

BUT HOW COULD HE NOT DIE??!!!!!????!!!

Devs plz update your anticheat system or i will be very disappointed with tanki..... -_-

if you can't kill that tank, but you can kill other tank, means you are fine and he is hacker.

What does this say about the game if hacks like this exist?

It means playing is worthless, crystals are worthless, buying is pointless and a waste of money.

I will report him in a few days but I'd like further advice here first.

Tanki Online is seriously going downhill. Only thing still productive for non-buyers are XP battles. Anything apart from friendly battles or Ranking parties is NOT productive nor enjoyable. Buy everything in the game today with $$, and find it to be worthless tomorrow. This is what Tanki is. Not worth long term playing at ALL. Also a bit hard to earn crystals when you can be removed from the battle because of invalid reasons. I reccommend any Tanker who can afford M2 XP equipment, to buy it and play XP battles.

I have once created a thread about how there are cheaters in tanki and always have been. I described a tank I encountered on a test server going over the edge of the map and shooting people from underneath jumping up and down in the air. The mod quickly locked the thread arguing there is no hacks in tanki and that things like that only happen on a test because there are no countermeasures there. Well, it was a lie. I have encountered that same over the edge jumping up and down hack on live servers yesterday with a guy using a ditch in the map instead of the edge. 

 

Locking threads like mine in the past won't make the problem go away. I am surprised this thread is still open.  

 

Back in the day hacks were much much more of a problem then today. But tanki sure isn't hack free.

If you look closely how did freeze/viking got on me, you find out, that he made 2-3 little jumps, and then got on me.

I think it's jump cheat, but not sure. Maybe new version of it...

If you see the parts before, you will see that he is not lagging one bit. It means he hacked or lagged during 0.25 (hack most likely)

 

lags do not allow you to drive that straight and land perfectly wtih no lag after that.

there are literally TONS of videos that have tanks flying all over the place......

tanki is on the verge of becoming an airplane game :p lolz

can anyone help me ? i was playing in rio , just 2 days before this post. with  my usual combo mammoth m1 and smoky m1 i reached the building above the side of the blue team . a thunder was there and i attacked him with smoky, taking out his aim so i could not be hit . i had full health and the thunder jumped of the building . i proceded to the ramp but to my surprise found the thunder there . i rammed him and attacked him but after repeatedly firing smoky no visible damage took place . the thunder should have killed itself with only the splash damage but it did not , i even witnessed 2 critical hits .  can anyone tell me how to report this type of malfunction of tanki systems ? or was it a hack ?

There are hackers for sure guys. I saw someone with a junp hack 2 days ago on Wave. I asked him if it was a hack and he even admitted to me it was LOL. I sent out a /vote report but no moderator showed up before he left. Sorry I dont know how to take snap shots or videos.

One surprisingly common application of fly hack that I have seen is to become unflippable.  Players using this will immediately right themselves when flipped over.  Railguns turning completely around from upside down in less than the time it would take to charge a shot.  I've seen players do this repeatedly in maps, usually jumping around carelessly.  It sucks because it is so subtle that you don't notice the majority of the time it happens.

 

Unfortunately I think a lot of the hackers at higher ranks exclusively use stolen accounts.  The account owner probably does not even know the account is compromised.  You see it a lot of the time when someone you know stops moving their turret or misses easy shots, probably a noob at the helm that managed to crack the password.  A lot less to risk, and usually these same scammers brag about the accounts they have and beg to share yours.

At your rank it's most definitely lag. Cheaters rarely get further than the sergeant stage before they get blocked.

I would argue that there is far more incentive to hack at higher ranks. With a good M4 garage costing hundreds of dollars or more there seems to be more and more of it happening since it is the cheapest way for some people to compete.

 

Its almost impossible to prove in regular drugged matches but in non-drugged Pro matches its a good idea to know just how much damage you can give or get from an M4 combination. Tanks that exceed that are usually referred to sarcastically as M5. When that shaft 1 shots you in your needle painted viking or it takes 1½ bars of your M4 isida to kill a dictator without isida paint and you're alone in a tunnel it should be obvious that these people are hacking.

 

 

Some steps you can do to expose the hackers:

 

1. Stick to Pro matches without supplies or drops since cheating there will be far more obvious

 

2. Benchmark your tank against some friends that have top M4 gear in their garages

- know how many shots (or yellow bar) it should take your main turrets to kill various common M4 hulls (both naked and protected)

- know how many shots it takes some common M4 turrets to kill your main hulls

- know your paints and the maximum upgrades so you can factor these into your benchmarks http://en.tankiwiki.com/Micro-upgrades

 

3. Don't be afraid to be a little suspicious:

- how can someone afford M4 hulls and turrets when all they can afford is Storm paint?

- how is that guy in second place with an M2 this or that?

- if someone is lagging badly but drives and shoots perfect ask yourself "how?"

- when things seem outside the limits of your benchmarking say "how is that possible?"

 

4. If you get suspicious, then start recording (there are lots of free screen recorders out there)

- if you catch some cheating make sure it isn't a paint you don't know or an unseen isida or smoky etc...

- test what happened with your M4 buddies and see if that should have happened

- if it doesn't all still doesn't add up, then report them using that video to game violations so that they get the block they deserve
