More information on staff jobs

Criteria for staff jobs is not really clear in forum. There should be basic criteria which if a candidate has, he should be interviewed. Sometimes we don't even get a reply. We should at least be told that we have been rejected for not meeting the criteria.

The criteria is very clear. It's not whether you simply meet that criteria. That criteria tells you to post an application, it is then the job of the admin of the group you applied to to see if your reasoning for wanting to be a moderator is good enough and many other reasons.

Reasoning?? Is that the only criteria. So you give a job only to those candidates who can provide good reasons to get a job?? IMO application should not be the final and only barrier to get a job.

Reasoning is the basis for a Moderator application, the whole point of being a Mod is to help the players and community users to have an enjoyable experience, both on and off the battlefield. This filter also helps weed out potential abusers of this power. Remember, they want Moderators who have extensive knowledge of the Rules, the game, and the community, and Moderators who care about the players. :)

 

So, they need to know what your reasons are for joining, not just "I want power". (Just a demonstration, not saying that's what you said.) :)

The criteria is pretty clear actually and then do provide a view of what admins are looking for. However, meeting these requirements doesn't guarantee you will be accepted, they are just limitations.
