Team switch sides

Basically what the title says, it would be nice if while in a team battle, if there is an open spot in the other side, there is a button when you hold tab, under opposite team, it says "Switch to Blue/Red"

Its annoying when I wanna switch sides on which I have friends on, I have to load out then load back in...

I support the act of changing sides in a team battle if you want. Such as if your current team is full of noobs. If you want to change teams, then do so at your own leisure. If your team has a lot of annoying people you just want to get revenge at, go ahead, switch sides. You got saboteurs/mults on your side? Switch.

 

But an in-game mechanism that encourages it right there? Dunno m8.

I support letting people have the freedom to change sides, but if you want to, then exit battle and re-join. . . .

 

This could help those monster-druggers. They help one side win, and then switch sides, help the other side win, switch sides, etc. etc. to rack up a huge fund and take it. . . .Seen it happen before. . .Kind of messed up. :P

Though I'm not sure how common they are now. . .. maybe not as common as before?

They are pretty common at my rank. :D

However this should not be implemented as it will cause most newbies switching sides to winning team and thereby just ending battle faster.

@beaku: Good point - ending battles faster.

Might as well keep this trick hidden. If you want to switch sides that badly, then do so by leaving and re-joining.

An in-game button will lead to exploitation/abuse of it, no?

 

Or maybe just get your friend to join your side? :P

Of course, I would only vote for this option if the losing team members CANNOT switch to the winning side.....there are already tons of battles that are unbalanced.

this would help a lot!

 

I often switch the team, if

- I am in the winning team

- and they start to loose badly

- and my crystal reward is not superioir

 

It is depressive if you are the three top players of the loosing team, you fight brave and sudenly your teammates leave you alone.

Aloe you get totally beaten up.. and you have to "stay in" for sake of crystals.

 

In such situation I often swithc to the loosing team, to give them a chance to enjoy gameplay.

(The Fast-battle-End feature does not kick in at this cases (which is good, because sometimes we turned the game ;)))

 

This would be a real nice feature !
