Nice guide overall, although I think all that was being done was stating the obvious.

(no offense to anybody, by the way)

agreed! Even the leading shots thing was kinda straight up. MAybe the camera angle and hitting sounds not so much, but generally it was all expected. Probably because there are no other tactics left... but good job anyways... fun read :)

This also might be pretty obvious, but i notice that staying stationary and firing is much more difficult than actually being in motion and shooting.

Ricochet is my weapon of choice. I play mostly more open bigger maps, but this is not always where richochet really "wins".

There is not nearly enough in this guide about  Richo's bounce shots, and it's best elevation-depression limits. Richo's ability to  bounce shots off several corners and also multi-dimensionally, can be used to TOTALLY rule some maps, or various approaches, and spawning areas, from certain "camp' spots in most of them.

A "better" guide would have these "camp" spots for bounce shots. Some are just plain wicked, like 5:1 to 10:1 D/L ratios everytime.

I have only been playing for 5 months, I know of killer spot(s) on about half the maps. And I know there many other spots on even the maps I play that I don't know about.  I have no ability to cut-and paste maps and "draw" on them and  post them. I could try. Over time we could build a DB of camp spots for Rico on various maps, much like what has been  done for shaft.

Maybe you should write guides. :P

he was just saying that all points were obvious. And you cannot blame the writer for this, because coming up with various new never-hearrd-before tips are very hard, because all previous ones were already explained. and even angle of elevation etc. even these are not that difficult to come up with. but in the history of tanki, no other points than these were mentioned, because there is not really much left to be mentioned (atleast what i feel).

There is a big difference between obvious and have been used before.

yes, so.....? and both of these are problems for coming up with new tips, probably there might be something new but we havent discovered it yet. like, no one. and thats what gives me a bit of leverage to say that we have run out, so we cant really be expected to make more points about it, cuz its POINTLESS!! :D

you see thats the thing. People don't understand that smoky is the best gun out there. With its infinite shots and high impact force with critical hits, you can basically kiss your game goodbye. The only chance you have is if the smoky isn't looking at you. And on top of all that, if they're drugging, might as well leave the battle.
