I've tried it and its awesome. Its firing radius is cool too. Who said newbies don't know how to turn turrets?

BTW, the turret is awesome and I ranked 1st with it in Kungur.

Do you play other TPS's and FPS's?

Also, I really just don't understand why the gyroscopic effect would be added, if it's meant to be long-ranged pressure. I'd rather get Wasp/Hornet to focus more on dodging while giving my opponents a wall of bullets, but it does that poorly. By adding the gyroscope effect, the turning speed becomes worse, so it's harder to keep up with a faster target. If you're using a heavy hull GG

Vulcan as it is now is probably weakest turret in game. Long range it's weak and easy to avoid. At medium range it could be dangerous when there is nowhere to hide, and that's rarely a case. At short range its hopeless, I suspect even Shaft could kill Vulcan using arcade shots and circling around.

Vulcan is difficult to kill in ctf battle with the help of isida freeze and repairkit

Excuse me, achieving status of "difficult to kill" with help of two other tanks and repair kit is hardly a merit.

Combination of time needed to start shooting + time needed to deal damage makes it easy to get close to Vulcan (or just get a few pot shots from cover). Then gyro effect makes it easy to get out of firing cone.

Ok - maybe M3 Vulcan is strong enough I don't know that, but M1 and M2 I've met so far were disturbingly easy to kill. Even better - they were easy to ignore.

okay so im wondering. the conclusion. should i buy it? i love sniping and railgunning so would i like that?

Actually, instead of railgun, this gun is like a shaft. However, you have used some long range gun, so you know what you should do. This gun can be better for you, but I generally suggest to get different guns for garage. Maybe an medium, medium-short or short range gun can help you more.

Hate to say it, but this turret is terrible.  It is overly handicapped.  There is not enough range to deal with railgun, shaft, or thunder.  The damage it does is so little that you cannot deal with charging tanks (or those crossing in front of you).  Peeping railguns neuter this turret.  The delay in shooting makes this turret even more vulnerable to peeping railguns or maps with lots of protection.  If even one of the handicaps were removed: Overheat, Shot delay, low damage, slow turning speed - then this gun might have legs.  As it is right now it is nothing but a liability.

Another way to look at it is that Vulcan does nothing that another turret does better.  Instead of naming the turret Vulcan, it should have been named VulCAN'T.

Do paints with Vulcan protection protect from the turret's overheating? Or paints with Firebird protection?

Firebird protection paints protect you from the overheat damage. Vulcan protection paints simply protect you from other Vulcan shots.

Hate to say it, but this turret is terrible.  It is overly handicapped.  There is not enough range to deal with railgun, shaft, or thunderDepending on where they are.  The damage it does is so little that you cannot deal with charging tanks If they're charging, you have enough time before they get to you to kill them.(or those crossing in front of youWell, rail and shaft can't really deal with ppl crossing in front of them.)  Peeping railguns neuter this turret.  The delay in shooting makes this turret even more vulnerable to peeping railguns or maps with lots of protectionThis delay is also applicable to railgunners. Just peep back.  If even one of the handicaps were removed: Overheat, Shot delay, low damage, slow turning speed - then this gun might have legs.  As it is right now it is nothing but a liability. Well, actually, if you use it right, it is SUPER effective. My brother usually comes in the bottom half in almost ANY battle, but today he played for 3 hours and every battle he came in the top three places. It depends on your style of playing.

Another way to look at it is that Vulcan does nothing that another turret does better.  Instead of naming the turret Vulcan, it should have been named VulCAN'T.

Tankers!

Today, we are happy to introduce the long-awaited Vulcan turret!

Vulcan is a turret ideal for combat at medium and long ranges. It is capable of firing indefinitely. However, after shooting for a significant amount of time, it will start building up heat. This will cause your tank to suffer damage. The self-damage feature can be countered by equipping a paint with Firebird protection. Another unique feature of this new turret is its gyroscope. Once Vulcan’s barrels are rotating, it will be fixed in the direction it is firing. Knocking off its aim will be very challenging. This is the first gun that will let you control the hull while the turret is facing the desired direction.

You can share your thoughts on the new turret in this thread and via the poll.

there is a glitch in which i go invinsible from vulcan
