What is "afterburn" ?? the very end tip of the firebird's fire ? Something else?

when fie shoots u ur tank turns red and takes damage even when the fire is gone. that is the afterburn.

oh i see! devs made twins and rico better so the vulcan wont take their place!

Rico actually became worse.  It still causes the same amount of damage in one clip, but it takes longer to shoot that clip.  That is what I understood from what was said.

Hi,

 

Can someone please point me to where I can see these changes? I did not notice any change in the parameters listed in the garage or Wiki for any of these guns.

Firebird Damage has doubled !?!??!!?  What? What? WHAAAT???

 

You guys sure you translated that correctly into English? I look in the garage, Firebird damage has NOT doubled at all.

Can you please explain that better?

My opinion of Vulcan after using for 30 minutes in Serpuhov

 

1) Very hard to control this tank while moving and trying to shoot/aim at the same time. Requires using left right (Z,X) while holding down spacebar AND arrow keys for tank direction.  This weapon will be even worse for new players because way too hard to get used to holding all those keys simultaneously.

 

2) The damage power of this weapon is a joke, you need to completely unload your entire clip to kill your average hornet. The time it takes to do that almost all other weapons can kill you. I think fire power on this thing needs to at least double to be half useful.

 

3) The destabalization of the weapon is poor. I can aim at some tank's corner and it barely even moves him. At least for M0, I see in M2 and M3 this is greatly improved, but Im not going to spend the crystals on this one.

 

4) You have to wait like 2 seconds or so after holding down spacebar before the weapon even starts firing. Why?? holding down trigger on real machine gun = instant shooting.

 

5) Tank heats up and blows up if you go too long past your clip and keep shooting... LOL!

 

This thing is not a machine gun, its like a useless peashooter... save your 650 crystals! Vulcan = worst weapon in Tanki right now.

firebird again becomes more powerful than before

the damage doesn't change but the damage ( i mean afterburn ) will be done in half time

 

so it kills faster that before

 

also about ricochet and twins

tanki is going to make the deaths faster

 

i hope that it doesn't make players to complain about this issue !

Afterburn and damage are completely different. The actual damage hasn't been changed - the damage while burning has been doubled, and the time the tank will burn for has been halved

i can give you reason

 

if you use mathematics you're right, but in a game it means killing will be faster than before

more deaths , more score , faster game and a firebird which became more powerful

 

it gave firebird more chance to kill with afterburn ( in  line three , the second time i said damage i meant afterburn not really damage )

and if that doesn't mean that firebird become stronger what does it mean ?

The introduction of a new turret always leads to changes in the balance of other weapons. To keep all the turrets in the game competitive with the introduction of Vulcan, we have made several changes to the parameters of Firebird, Ricochet and Twins.

  • Firebird’s burning damage has been doubled, while the enemy tanks’ cooling time has been decreased by half. This means that burning tanks will receive the same damage as before but in half the time.

Im sorry, everything is great apart from firebird, doubling its burning damage will give light hulls no chance whatsoever against it and im quite unhappy, that basically makes firebird invincible and vulcan won't even stand a chance with drugs, i think you should have kept firebird the same, not everyone has twins and ricochet you know  :rolleyes:
