Which laptop do you use for TO

I don't use a laptop, I use an all-in-one PC. I get 60 FPS with no settings on. With a few more settings on, it drops down to 30. Ping stays near 80-100.

HP G-62

Mip mapping+Dynamic Shadows+Fog+Shadow under tank+Soft particles(not dust, sadly)+Antialising = 35-40 FPS

All other on(excluding deep shadows and Dynamic shadows) I get 40-45 :D

I prefer using Fog+Shadow under tank+Soft particles(dust in this one :D)+Antialising = 55-60 FPS and it is pretty decent if you're more like quality+gameplay. :D

As for PING, mind that it isn't relevant to the PC/laptop and instead depends upon the internet connection you have, I normally have 60-45 PING... but recently it hasn't been good, not just for me, but most of the players I know - 255-98 :(

PC

Mip-mapping + Dynamic shadows + Fog + Soft particles + Antialiasing + Dynamic lightning = 60 FPS

Mip-mapping + Dynamic shadows + Fog + Soft particles + Dust + Antialiasing + Dynamic lightning = 40-55 FPS

^^ I prefer the first one (60 FPS) ^^

Ping: 20-25

Thought of adding specs:

Intel Core i5-2310 @ 2.90 GHz, 2901 MHz, 4 Cores

4,00 GB RAM

nVidia GeForce GT 630 1 GB

1TB HDD

Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit

I usually use my cheap PC for running Tanki, gets 60 FPS (caps out at that) with all settings on, but I am trying to make the framerate more stable.

On my bigger system I can run high-end games on maximum settings with ~65 FPS while not streaming on my 1080P monitor.

im thinking of getting a cheap laptop what would you recfomend

Try getting a reconditioned, secondhand Toshiba. There's some good deals and the laptops work very well. Look for a reputable reseller, like laptopsdirect in the UK.
