In game voting feature is useless and dead.

Mults go unpunished.

There are a lot of people on this game, every one sees mults, everyone reports, and the mods do their BEST trying to help everyone, but simply can't due to the huge demand.

Moreover, for a game to be highlighted for a mod, 25% of the players need to vote the same play(s).

And if you're wondering why there aren't more chat mods to have more coverage for the game, it's simply because, unfortunately, not a lot of players meet the requirements and the needs to be a chat mod, nor the huge time that needs to be devoted for the game.

actually there arent enough mods to take of this i mean if some player is sabotaging the vote command doesnt help at all unless this game has more mods cuz most players dont have screen revorders

Simple solution: more mods. I don't believe it when you say not enough players meet the requirements.

 

25% needs to vote the same player? That's whay to much. If I vote someone who is multing , I expect a mod to take a look at it.

Whenever I see posts (such as those above me), they always project chat mods as bad people. Why can't we ever just compliment and/or applaud chat mods for their hard work and devotion, without having people denounce them?

ik most players who have enough time would be ready to be a mod ! But requirements is a problem . So my suggestion is, not too keep heavy requirements ...

really? every hacker mult we need to take video screen? there is many mults and hackers we cant just report everyone ! plus u see hackers and mults everywhere...

nowaday those mults are much smarter,

 

before you record their action, they are offline or go garage and pretend changing equipment,

 

and they do only a few kill of unimportance enemies,

 

then go garage again, or pretend flipped.

-------------Mult Tips------------

 

1. pretend to be just a normal noob player

2. use M2 weapons and slow hulls

3. only kill un-important enemies, dont kill flag catcher

4. flip yourself a lot

5. go garage to do weapon change every 5 min, and changing for 5min every time  ^_^

6. camp and shoot in main road, that "accidently" block your teammate

7. pretend to be stupid, and say "sorry, and let us win", lol

8. once got killed, press "Pause" for 30sec, and then reborn, give yourself a 30sec break every 1min.

9. using shaft, and pretend scope and missing shots

10. using rail, and pretend missing shots

 

 

there is no way you are easy-to-spot mult.

I saw that multing type people a lot, especially high rank smart people.

 

so give up the idea, and live with it. ;)

yeah no end to mults and hackers but then why would there be? when you have a report button that isn't being monitored and a game violators section that requires you to use third party software and cease playing while you try and get a good recording, then of course you can't post what you have to tanki either so go to another third party site to upload your evidence -_- 

 

If tanki was serious about improving the games integrity they would have crystal/supply rewards for people who capture game violators. I don't see why when they keep saying they have not enough moderators to be able to monitor all games they don't use the players themselves. Why not reward people for doing tanki's job for them, who take time out to jump through all the hoops to improve the game for everyone. Take the crystals/supplies from the cheaters, wont cost tanki anything.

Not to worry about those guys. If it is seen they are voting for no legitimate reason (such as the one you stated) then they will sooner or later  be caught and punished. ^_^

Well most of you know about me, my views and my EZ Slash Vote, as well as @AbsoluteZero's KICK 2.0 topic so I won't re-hash that.  The real cause for the lack of mods is Tanki headquarters.

• They don't provide proper tools for the mods to do their job.
• They don't pay enough for the demand on ones time.
• The rules and protocols they have put in place for the mod to follow are ridiculous.

I was asked if I had plans to apply for a mod position by an administrator. When I told them I didn't have the time they required but would still be willing to do it part time they told me no it had to be full time or not at all. Seems kind of stupid from a company that doesn't have enough mods. I would think that even a part time mod is better then no mod. Oh well their lose.

What he says is true about "not enough players meeting the requirements."

 

Do you know how many players roam around this game with NO BANS OR OFFENSES (swear words) for the last year?!? The simple answer is: almost none. Out of that "almost none" group, you now need to select players that meet further requirements, such as timezone/availability, fluency of the language (or several), right attitude/disposition, Skype and a good headset/mic, etc. In short, the amount that meet all of that is: almost less than none. Not to mention, the still-qualified players need to apply first, the administration doesn't go looking for them.

 

Even so though, the "Game_Violators" group is in charge of the voting system, primarily. Chat Mods only do it when necessary.

Mhm, right. It takes at least 5 minutes of hi-quality video evidence for the Mods to convict a mult/saboteur (5 minutes of hi-quality video can be upwards of 5 gigabytes in size, depending on the recorder). Plus, do you know a mult who would sit there while a player records 5 minutes of video? Nope, I didn't think so. They always start playing when they see player(s) circling them with the recorder on.

 

Besides, a player who takes 5 minutes of his time to record a video of a saboteur is doing more sabotaging than the mult himself, unless the battle is extremely long. Even with that 5 minutes of video, they Mods still can rarely ban. It simply isn't worth the time. ;)
