Twins :? Well maybe i see your point but the point of the specialty of twins is probably making the opponent miss its shot (becuase of the twins recoil)

 

I am a thunder/isida/ricochet person and they do get annoying ... But then again why would to unower a weapon when you can get it yourself? :)

personally, twins is underpowered! and also, the tier two weapons are worse at m1 than tier 1 at m3, always, except they have special features. So get used to it. the tier twos are probs more expensive cos of their special powers and u can upgrade them further.

That is not really true.

Twins m3 do 6-8 damage per shot and fire 3 shots per second. That is on average 21 damage per second.

Ricochet m0 does 10-12 damage per shot and fires 1.67 shots per second. That is on average around 18 damage per second.

 

M3 twins costs 710 crystals overall while m0 ricochet costs 650 crystals.

 

For 60 fewer crystals, 3 less damage per second, a limited amount of shots, and the capability to bounce shots off walls, one can get ricochet and still have room to upgrade.

Anyways, Twins is not over powered, The people who use twins have to aim a lot more than the others because just a small hit can make you miss your target.

Twins are a barrage weapon, while other weapons have different characteristics, twins ability to maintain constant pressure with low damage is what makes it effective. You just have to give up range to get that feature.

 

PROS

 

- Constant Pressure / Firing capability

- Kickback capability

- Extremely short recharge

- Fairly fast firing rate (shots per second)

 

CONS

 

- Low Damage per shot

- Medium range

- Constant turret maneuvering

- Can't really "shoot and hide" or leverage cover as you have to maintain Line of Sight (LOS) with both guns to be effective. Effectively making you an easy target for anyone that wants to shoot at you.

 

 

Twins are most effective if you can move in range undetected or evade / absorb the initial attack of a slow recharge weapon and get on your target. They are not used significantly by higher level players.

 

They seem fairly well balanced to me and the price is efficient for lower level players to become competitive quickly. I see nothing wrong with that.

by that i mean, in FK2 i was on the bottom of the big ramp, some guy at the top, his twins were hitting me and he was flat, not aiming down. and my thunder kept going over him.
