i think its offline since it keeps saying maximum capicity and then when i hit find a different sever it says the one that i tried to get says offline

Test Server isn't offline, its just that so many tankers are in there at the same time, and there is only one server for all tankers to play on. So just keep trying to refresh every 5 seconds if it doesn't work, then once you see it has worked and its loading wait for it, and if it doesn't work refresh again. Thats was i do :) Here is the link to the server :http://test.tankionline.com/battle-en.html#/server=RU3&battle=fffffffffd4fa661

Yes, they're going to keep the keyboard controls, however you'll have to play in full screen mode to use them

It's offline semyon m8 -_-

Play in full screen, that way the turret turns with the mouse. As for the changing of what each button does, I don't know if it'll work

Not really actually. The camera turns where the mouse goes, not the turret. Therefore you could turn way too fast and the camera actually goes where the turret if eventually going to face.

Obviously no one likes it because they haven't gotten used to the new controls.

Even if I got used to it, I probably wouldn't use it. If I were to use it, it would not be in fullscreen because the controls are just too hard. And why do you keep saying update? There is no update yet, its in the test server so its being tested, stop saying update...

"Start with the positive."   Okay, I love the ability to control the view with the mouse wheel. It is easy and intuitive as well as quick. Thumbs up!

Aiming is...difficult to say the least. The plane in which the mouse controls the turret doesn't tilt with the tank. Because the screen is 2D in the up/down and left/right directions and the turret turns in fore/aft and left/right this creates some problems. Take a look at this picture.

(There is a white Ricochet/Hornet in front of me, you can just see the barrel) Notice how despite the fact that my mouse is actually on the enemy, my turret is pointing to the side. I believe I could get my turret to point at my opponent, but to do so I would have to point my mouse more toward the top, middle of the picture and not at the enemy. Not intuitive at all.

Getting back on one's tracks is also difficult.

The antagonizing feature of this update is the inability to see where the turret is pointing, not only do I have a hard time hitting enemies anywhere that is not directly in front of me, but driving backwards is impossible. Notice how I cannot see an enemy down there to save my tank. Also, because the camera does not rotate I am finding myself wandering around the map like a drunken sailor. Apparently I relied on the direction of the tank for my sense of direction and not the camera view. When my turret turns and my camera doesn't it messes me up. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with practice though.

Another skill requiring lots of practice will be driving with my left hand. When it came time for a Gold Box, (the second of three in a row, actually) I returned to my comfortable keyboard controls. Again, nothing that couldn't be fixed with practice.

(No, I didn't catch the Gold Box)

I plan on playing with Firebird later, more impressions coming then.

I dislike the mouse controls the way they are now because they do not follow the same concept as the keyboard controls do. When you use oyur mouse to aim, the camera should follow the turret and your screen should be divided into thirds. When you put your mouse onto the left third, the gun (with the screen/camera) turns left. When you put your most onto the middle third, the gun (with the screen/camera) stays where it is. When you put your mouse onto the right third, the gun (with the screen/camera) turns right. A simple concept.

The reason why people do not understand nor like the new mouse controls is because the camera should act as the camera in the normal Tanki Online does now- it follows the turret as it turns. Sure, I guess you could arguably say this can be done with the fullscreen mode of the mouse controls but the camera can turn faster than the turret at times causing even more confusion! The camera should just look at whatever the "turret is looking at" just like the keyboard controls do.

yeah definetly

1. No. Trust me, I tried to do that. It doesn't work as good as you expect it.

2. Well... no... You see, we don't really want mouse controls to be superior to keyboard controls. Besides, shots doesn't go exactly to the center of your coursor.

you must follow post number 136 and anything has to do with that otherwise there is no point of the mouse controls...
