Crystal Boxes Taken Out of Funds

I remember when I was a noob, I got destroyed all the time. The way I got crystals and eventually progressed was with crystal boxes. Now all the really good players get the crystals and the players that need it can never reach it. This way it's easier for starters to get started and not get frustrated all while working their way up to the competitive level of higher ranks.

Is it because of your playing style, or do you play with ranks that are too high?

Skills cannot defeat drugged super-tanks that make Godmode_On look normal.

smoky and hunter vs. tier3 shaft with no lazer who wins?

my point is it might make a smoother entry for noobs and get them into the flow of the game that way they don't smash their computer because they got spawn-killed for the third time in a row

While I do genuinely appreciate your point, I'd like to explain something to you. Rank should always be proportional to skill, hence why the developers removed the feature to buy ranks long ago. All players start as a low rank, but some will naturally be better than others, and for being more skilled they shall reap a greater reward. Now the more skilled players out of this pool of low rankers will rank up, and end up fighting more players whom are of equal skill. This loop will continue, and eventually everyone will rank up, though the paces will vary. This way, the skill, rank, and crystal reward are all equal to each other. Additionally, mults often took advantage of just grabbing crystal boxes and ignoring the rest of their team.

 

Finally, as per the rules of this section, ideas regarding the return of past versions of Tanki Online are not allowed.
