Ideas for Supplies and Drones!

i think there should be a reload supply. the reload supply would give you 1/2 times less time to reload than normal. it would not last as long as other supplies, and you wont be able to use it unless you pick it up in box form. thank you for your consideration.

This supply has been requested quite a bit, and I don't think it'd merge with Twins very well.

 

Since Twins already has a really fast fire rate, would it double the fire rate with this supply? If so, that'd not only lag the game a lot, but also be immensely overpowered, since it'd be dealing not only 2x damage, but also 2x impact force.

Perhaps with Twins it'd simply act like a DD?

Rico has an energy pool. A shorter reload means that it can fire at full speed for twice as long, but wouldn't actually increase its rate of fire. :3

ik but noone could survive it.

Even if it runs out of energy, he will still be able to shoot FAST

...No, Rico's fire speed is set to a standard pace, since it has an energy pool (like Firebird) and not individual shots (like Smoky). The energy pool would refill twice as fast, but the fire rate would stay the same.

 

A reload speed increase would not make Firebird deal damage twice as fast.

The power-ups (drugs) are simply too powerful at 2x. Let's cut to the chase: they are the most important factor in the game. But the game is supposed to be about tanks ... not power-ups. The goal is supposed to be about creating the most powerful tanks you can choose and afford to fit your style. But it is not. What the game really is about is about being able to stay as close fully drugged all of the time.

 

The game may as well be named Pickupi Online.

 

The numbers do not lie.  Players are supposed to worry about paying thousands of C per MU. Each of these MU steps might increase you turret damage by a fraction of a percent. A power-up increases damage by 100 percent and costs 50 C,  Sure that boost it temporary - per drug dose. That temporary problem goes away if players are able to stay in a permanent state of powered-up. And evidence seems to say this is iundeed possible.

 

So we see an end-game where the only way to compete is to stay powered up all the time. The game becomes one of drug management not maneuver and tactics. 

 

But Little Willie, you say, what's the problem is everyone is fully powered-up? then the  Game is lie playing with n one powered up (except for the speed of the tanks / rotations). WEll flip that argument on its head. If drugs do not affect the end-game play balance .. then why do we have them?

 

The power-ups need a fresh look from the design team. They need to be designed to give an advantage but not one so large that they dominate the game. Right now I am seeing a negative incentive to gain experience! If gaining experience mostly means I meet more and more "druggers" dominating battles then gaining experience has a bit of the kiss of death about it.

 

If that is not a glaring warning sign to the developers that there is a drastic flaw in their design I don't know what is.

If you have problems with drugs, Buy a pro pass and play in drug-free battles!

I remember the time when the Double Power powerup existed. I think there should be an actual double power (pushing power of your tank) or maybe triple power so you can push other tanks around.

anything like that havent been here.

I'm surprise this has not been mentioned before, in regards to Speed Boost

 

In addition to making your tank go 30% faster for 45 Seconds, I would like to see Speed Boost either decrease reload time or increase firing rate by 30% for 45 seconds.

Don't know if this has been suggested, but how about an oil slick.  like a mine, but the enemy who drives over it has very limited traction for X amount of time.  Could also be used for slip n' slide on the big ramp in polygon :D

Or we could get rid of polygon. The spawn system for that map is incredibly broken and you will spawn near an enemy- just like in COD.

Can we please not delete mines after death? If you do, then the player should be compensated for the loss of revenue or be given the undentonated mines back.

If mines aren't deleted after death think of what could happen. People will just put mines around their flag and give up the fight. It would be boring. Plus, it wouldn't be fair if only one supply doesn't disappear once you die. All supplies in use disappear when you die. It just wouldn't fit in well with gameplay.

I don't mean on gold boxes. I mean on regular supplies that we use in a game. Why couldn't we have an option to drop them? For example: If I press "2" key I would activate a shield, but if I hold "2" key longer, then I should be able to drop a shield box in a battle. Not on the way like gold box, to falls from sky, not like that, it just creates itself in a place behind the tank. Like mines. This can be useful, we can help our teammates like this, for example: if someone can't heal, I can drop him a health box to help him. Player that dropped a box cannot pick it up immediately,he can only after 5 seconds. Also, player cannot active same supply that was dropped in a battle and cannot drop more than 1 box at the time when the box is reloading. So what do you think about this? I know that many of you won't care about helping others, and wasting supplies hehhhh :/ :/, but share your thoughts.

can you restore the crystal boxes please, it is very useful

They won't restore them back into the game. It is pointless when you get a big battle fund, also, I doubt anyone would be that thirsty for Crystals and wait for one minute for one crystal box containing 10 crystals only. I rather just play then get more than what you originally get from crystal boxe(s)
