Ideas for Supplies and Drones!

Black Hole

A region of spacetime with gravitational effects so strong that nothing will escape, when you activate this supply you have 5 seconds to escape as a micro black hole starts to form (It works like a mine where it's place on the spot you activated it). This black hole has an effective radius of 10 meters. Once in it's grasp there's little chance for survival and everyone gets pull to the singularity ( everyone but your teammates, however you can kill yourself with this supply) and their atoms get ripped apart. There is a small chance of survival, your enemy might have reinforced their hull with double armor or try the make it through with a repair box, but the only true chance of survival is to be out of the black hole range.

IDK... I mean... sounds interesting... but... also sounds?? OP? 

 

Maybe have another Supply capable of the Exact opposite as well?? So some tanks could have Black Holes while others could have?? I don't know... Kinetic Blasts? Or Reppel Mines? Whatever they call it... could be a mine that does exact opposite from your Black Hole idea... effective against any tank within 5-10 meters, or short range, when goes off, only a 1 second blast, pushes any tank within it's range away, but Violently... as in, throwing it UP...OUT... THROUGH the Air! Tank receives some damage? Maybe... definately messes up any chance of effective targeting... and good chance, with violently thrown, any tank repelled would spin and land upside down, sideways, off map, or even in an unescapable Pit!! 

 

Just imagine one tank setting off a Kinetic Blast while another sets off a Black Hole?? Creepy... COOL!!!!

I wish you could convert supplies into crystals... for some of us who don't really like to use supplies it would be more useful if we could change them to money instead. Of course these have to be lower than the buying price, like maybe the normal ones are 20 crystals each?

I'm sure this will have come around before, but I haven't spotted it anywhere.  Why not make a downside to supplies, obviously they ramp up certain attributes a lot, but what if dbl dmg, required a slightly slower load/fire rate, dbl armour requires extra heavy plates so you go a bit slower, dbl speed gives you speed at the expense of some handling.  Not enough to really make it iffy to use supplies, but this seems like a reasonably logical extension of what improving those things we really like might do. 

 

I'm thinking that it would be a flat rate at which the downsides would be applied regardless of the hull or weapon in use.

5% or so maybe.

We have a mine, which is triggered when a tank touches it, how about a bomb that dropped, explodes like 10 seconds (like a time triggered bomb) later dealing some splash damage to the area? Not as powerful as thunder/striker, but decent enough to deal maybe lets say 200 to the tanks close to the centre, also there could be like a ticking sound effect to go with it.

A bomb?? really? Might as well allow one to diffuse it?

Lol, what i mean is like a grenade that isn't thrown, but is just dropped like a mine and has like 6 to 10 seconds before explodes in the area with splash, not deffusuable, avoidable and could cause self splash but not to friendly tanks just incase of multing.

 

Also, maybe a shock mine, that when triggered by a tank, paralyzes the tank for 2 seconds or so...

I hope to reduce the supply enhancement. A tank with double damage and double protection is 4 times powerful than a non-drug tank.

 

 

The drug team will win no-drug team for sure, no skills needed. This is a very unbalance situation. If both teams drug, then how about no one drug at the beginning?

 

I suggest to reduce the supplier enhancement. For example, instead of double-protection give the hull 2x protection constantly, it give the hull 2x protection at the first 10 seconds, then 1.8x protection in the next 10 seconds, then 1.5x protection in the afterward 10 seconds, and so on.

 

The same to the double damage and double speedup. The boost up effect will reduce with time. This could require the players to use the supply wisely, and play more with skills.

These is my ideas for new supplies

 

Smoke grenade: A grenade when it exploses there will be alot of smoke for 10sec. idk you can change the color in the shop or settings idk

 

Invisible: A supplie you can use to hide or something but you will see a hazy tank

 

Bots: some bots who will follow the enemy like in TankiX

would like to see invisible mines or a mine that blends into the surrounding area's ..

 

like if placed on grass make it green to camouflage it .. and so on with light brown for sand surfaces ...

No... I mean, I understand what your saying! They are meant to attack those behind you who in hot pursuit of you when your trying to get away and and their weapon is devestating up front, or the closer they get to you, and you lay your mine and they see so they go around, and now you can't lay one down... for quit awhile! I agree, it sucks! I use mine for choke points... usually! 

 

On the other hand... I (on occasion) often use those close attack hot pursuit tanks, such as my firebird, and I'm the one on hot pursuit... I kind of appreciate it when I see the mine get layed before me! it's not cause I've seen it that makes the difference though... their is ALWAYS an audible alert, a chime, chirp, or a ding, that you will hear the moment a tank drops a mine! So if your the tank that's in hot pursuit of a tank, and hear that chirping chime, stop moving, back up, and look for the mine! How will one look where to go if it's blended in!? 

"hey, is THAT a mine, or... a rock? I don't think so! 

 

Only thing I want changed with the Mines... if they could... shorter reload timing!! The fact it takes forever before you could Reuse one??
