Ideas for Supplies and Drones!

Seems too complicated. A lot of players would be confused by that kind of system.

 

I do support the idea of being able to pay crystals or supplies to be able to play standard battles without supplies, but I'm afraid devs won't do that. There's other issues as well. For example, by giving players a new type of battle where they can do missions, the player base gets separated even more, so there will be less people to fill battles, and matchmaking will end up being less effective when there's less people.

 

I doubt there will be any more variety in non-PRO battles, other than different game modes and maps.

but... I pay the 1000 drugs to create the battle, people who join pay nothing.. so matchmaking will just throw random people into that no drug battle whether they like it or not.. this way at least there's more variety for everyone

But if a bunch of people create these maps, then there will be a lot more maps for Matchmaking to put people into, meaning that maps will take longer to fill up, or some won't fill up at all. This ruins the idea of matchmaking.

 

Also, I'm pretty sure the majority of players prefer to play battles with supplies and find no-supply battles to be less interesting. I mostly agree with them. Playing without supplies is fun only if you have a competent team (preferably in a call) versus another competent team, where you can communicate well and develop more complicated tactics and strategies. In battles with random players (some of who can't even turn their turrets) such tactics are impossible to apply, therefore things like supplies and overdrive exist to make the battles less stale.

1) May still happen if MM does not balance things properly.  Not having a battle-list is giving up a lot.  Poor balancing will be the extra nail in coffin that might make ProBattles (or Custom or whatever) become popular again.

 

2) Count me in the camp that prefers no-supplies.  Dying every 20 seconds (especially on crowded maps) is hardly any fun. And OverDrive - oh my - that is ruining the battles (asta-la-vista balance). As many have pointed out, OD just helps the winning team do even better.

This was suggested before. Such a supply would be completely useless to most turrets in the game as either they don't need to reload (Twins) or reload quickly enough for it to be ineffective. Only weapons that *might* have a use for it is Rail (with the alteration that gives it 50% more reload), Shaft, Firebird, Isida and Freeze. Having a supply that only helps select combos is not possible.

Making Supplies more Realistic

 

Reason: Many people have the complain about over use of supplies and game is now drug and win concept,  i myself also agree with them, specially at low level all top players are unlimited supply users. currently giving free supplies to players help the balance but still people ask for reduction of drug usage. so this is not a Nerf neither a buff for drug users, but will be fun for all.

 

Suggestion: Supplies should consume on use instead of time. currently when you activates a supply, you get timed buff, you can get max use of the time, if you don't use it will expire with time. My suggestion is to add a amount instead of time. will explain more ....

 

Outcome : Game will be more fun to focus on supplies, so it will not be Drug = win, it will be Drug+skill = win. means you have to use drugs effectively.

 

How Each supply should Change:

 

Repair_symbol.pngRepair Boxes: (No need of change, its already a amount is healed)

Mine_symbol.pngMines: (also no need of change, cause its one mine per supply)

DD_symbol.pngDouble Damage: apply a ammo limit, it spend if u shoot, it will not spend if u don't shoot. Means you can keep buff forever till

                                       u consume it.

         25px-Firebird.pngFireBird,25px-Freeze.pngFreeze,25px-Isida.pngIsida           -  you get the double damage for one (or less) round of energy.

                                                                                            eg Firebird can hold fire for  5 sec, double damage also exist only 5 sec of shooting

                                                                             time.

          25px-Thunder.pngThunder, 25px-Smoky.pngSmoky, 25px-Hammer.pngHammer, -  Double damage exist until u shoot specific number of hits, for mid range it will be

                                                                              like 5.

          25px-Magnum.pngMagnum, 25px-Railgun.pngRailgun, 25px-Shaft.pngShaft,    -  Same as above, specific number of ammo, as for most OP weapons, it should be 3

           25px-Twins.pngTwins, 25px-Ricochet.pngRicochet                         - should be like Firebird, but it should be lower energy,

 

 

DA_symbol.pngDouble Armor : Actually adds more protection for each hull depend on hulls original protection, this will consume only when u

                                   actually get damage BUT, giving 100% more protection will make it over powerful, so it must be reduce to like

                                   30%  - 60% protection.

Speed_symbol.pngSpeed Boost : Speed boost will not be changed much, it should not be consume on time, but should consume on time tank

                                   actually moved. only difference from now is, if  you stand still timer for it should stop too.

 

 

Note: well i know implementing this kind of thing is really hard and lot of work for developers ;)  . but this will make it more fun to play and Specially supplies will be Realistic. all my idea is rely on fact that, supplies should not be timed.

I feel like supplies are being given out in such high numbers that everyone should be able to use them. I actually really like the cool down system. Many times I have been playing and i messed up which supply I wanted to use and was punished. Other times I got it right and felt like a super hero smashing through the enemy base. Repair kits are hard to come by, but I've ocmpletely switched over to normal battles as they are just way more fun

decrease power of supplies

 

im my opinion ,i think supplies should be decrease ,people bought kits have attached supplies and they alway use supplies in battle ,this is not equal for newbie

There are non-pro battles where supplies are off if anyone wants to create one or even join a pre-made one already. Also with the daily missions and their rewards as well as the weekly chain for completing missions...the containers we get give us valuable items including supplies being the most common one. But supply usage in this game has always been a problem, yes.

im my opinion ,i think supplies should be decrease ,people bought kits have attached supplies and they alway use supplies in battle ,this is not equal for newbie

they aren't that powerful..

Supplise worth compared to price.

i know one of the rules was  "no suggestions to price decrease" but i wanted to say that supplise, specially the repair kit should be cheaper. Repair kit has been nerfed quite alot so is it anymore worth the 150crys?

Or... they are too powerful. Shaft m0 with DD does same damage as Shaft M4 (without DD). :blink:

For some Turrets, it might be easier to shoot than others. I wonder what you will be doing with those Turrets that are harder to, for example, Isida or even Rail.

If you mean only the enemy damage, this is just a 'Damage affect enemy mines', variation of my previously posted idea. If you mean ally damage as well or only, this is useless and can go only in loss for ally team, unless mines deal splash damage as well; in which case together with damage detonating them is a chain reaction of a mine detonating neighbour mine as well.
