Shooting Mines

 

I would like to see an update where if you shoot a mine it explodes. This is good if you want to prevent people from Spawnmining.

Mines would be too easy to remove, imagine a thunder or magnum shooting the ground and completely clearing the area from mines with his splash. and it can easily happen while he's fighting some other tanks in the area and not even suspecting that the mines are there.

 

If it's gonna be possible to remove mines, I'd say it should be a unique ability of only one turret

Fixing of the unbalance at low ranks

 

Hi!

As we all know, the player base of Tanki Online has been declining over years :(.
Now here is how, in my opinion, this can be partially fixed. Anyone who has created an alt account recently knows that there is a HUGE unbalance between players who still have a too low rank to get a good amount of supplies from missions and people who have bought drugs early on. They cannot even play PRO battles since it costs a lot for low rankers.
That way many potential future players end up getting frustrated and quitting early on - and tanki does need new players!

For that reason, I think every new player should obtain over 100 of each supply (excluding Gold Boxes, of course) and get introduced to their usage thanks to automatic hints for newbies. Also, the mission chain rewards should be balanced out when it comes to these items - increased for low rankers and possibly slightly decreased at high ranks, so the game budget can keep growing while being more attractive to new players.


What do you think about this idea? I am open for criticism!

We should get as many repair kits as we do with other supplies. When drugging, you should be able to use a repair kit each time you respawn, and it is often used more than other supplies since smart cooldowns exist. Why are they more expensive and harder to obtain through containers/missions?

Why not instead give low ranks rewards for playing a lot of consecutive battles in quick succession, therefore they'll get encouraged to play more and stay active...And please refrain from using the big white text :D It hurts eyes.

Supply Trading

 

So let's say you have 3000 mines and you don't really want to use them but you only have 10 double damages.  You then can trade 1 for 1.  (or 3 for 2 if you want to be money stealing devs).  And you can trade 3 for a repair kit (4 if you wanna be greedy).  And then people will get the supplies they use more instead of stockpiling useless items in their garage and wasting crystals buying more of the supplies they need.  Devs probably want you to make unfair trades but it's still worth getting rid of the too many [insert supply here] instead of [insert other supply here].

Great idea, especially if the rewards would be drugs. Btw i did not notice the problem with the white test and it's size untill i saw it on my smartphone xD

If you want to decrease imbalances in the lower ranks, what is the point of decreasing mission chain rewards for higher ranks?

I said that just because I do not believe Tanki would accept an idea that makes this game better for non buyers in 100% haha Edited by Picassoo

Drugging should not be introduced to new players because it is a noob strategy. New players should learn camping and hull swinging in the tutorial.

Drugging adds more strategy in the game. It only needs to be fair so anyone can get them. It is important to know when and in what order to use your drugs depending on your equipment, the map you are playing on and enemy tank positioning.

Nitros are my enemies, I would like to get rid of them, way too much and I mean way way too much of them I got.

True. Any kind of trading that allows the player to exchange useless items for useful ones without extra cost will never happen.

You're still converting useless items to useful ones, rather than buying new ones. Anyway, if there's a price for trading, then you may as well just buy the items during a 50% sale.

If a nitro cost 50 cry. I can trade it with a player for 25 crystals

If it's a holiday and a nitro cost 25 crystals. I can trade it for 12 crystals.

For trading you need to buy trade center which cost 100,000 crystals but If developers need money then Trade Center cost some real money. But in this way buyers will be more powerful so better it will be for crystals so normal players can also make deals

Youtube "Road to legend" accounts and "M2 AT LOW RANK!" videos are killing the game. It's like they want the game to die or something.

All three of my accounts are at lower ranks: SM, WO3, and WO5. I use drugs on the WO3 account (was my first one), but not on the others. I rely on well timed use of Overdrive (my own + team mates) a lot.

 

Sometimes I lose badly, but sometimes I win. I have most fun with the SM account (but that's only 7000 XP from WO1) because drug battles aren't that common. It's getting much harder on the WO5 account, but I still haven't reached the point where drug use in every battle is necessary.

 

After 29 hours (over 7 weeks) on the SM account (M0 Hunter 10/10 + Smoky M1 8/10), I've managed to accumulate 314 RK, 471 DD, 850 DD, 750 SB, and 424 Mines. Accumulating Supplies at low ranks isn't difficult.

 

(FWIW, I think that lack of separation between players that don't want to use drugs [for game play reasons] and players that do is the worst thing about TO. I like the intensity of drug wars sometimes, but I wish there was a non-Pro no-Supplies MM rotation running alongside the existing one.)
