Even teammates? Even yourself too? because you've just picked out a supply...

Only if friendly fire is on. And it doesn't kill people that used pickups. Only people that have used their own supplies. And it doesn't kill yourself.

apparently killing would be unfair...

It would be way fair... It would stop people drugging. And those buyers will keep self destructing when they have an advantage. And those non-buyers will be untouchable cause they won't drug.

Sorry to sound rude, but your comment simply is to remove supplies?! Yes? Their are some who claim supplies should be removed altogether. You must be one of them. Why you not just say that? Cause everyone would denounce the comment? I still denounce yours! THERE is an option making a map game, that you CAN remove supply options on the map you play on... You may not get many to join your map! 

 

Sorry, but supplies is part of the game! Yes I use them! Yes, i've been called a "druggy"... oh well! I play to win, to gain expereince, to survive! I will use any means, whether tactics, drugs, even killing among GOLD DROPS!! The game was made to include the supplies, and I intnd to use them when they're available, whether I pick them up off the street (as i call the drops) or get them from my drug store (my garage, buying a stock up). So... 

 

I don't know what to tell ya... but remove the Supplies?? negate them with a super supply that kills all users?? NO WAY!!

I know many tankers are frustrating that many players abusing the use of supplies. We call them druggers. These players heavily affect the balance of the game which they can easily become god-like without much skills.
 
If we look at some famous FPS games, we may noticed that supplies or similar staff usually didn't exist in the game (e.g. Counter Strike), or only be able to pick them up in the battle field (e.g. OverWatch). 
 
However, supplies are one of the unique features of tanki and use it wisely can change the battle upside down. Which I believe some players and developers many not want to remove it.
 
Therefore, I suggest to limit the use of supplies in the battle. e.g. only 5 supplies in total can be used in a single battle. Players still able to buy and stack up their supplies in the garage but only limited number of supplies can be used in a single battle.
 
This can prevent some players keep on using supplies and create frustration among others. It also keep the uniqueness of supplies which use them correctly is a tactic and strategy. 
 
 
I hope the developers really start to address this issue, since it has created massive of frustration among players. Or else, previous hard work of balancing the game will be meaningless.

 

 

 

Other thing, about the Gold Box supply (Might not be accepted). When we grow stronger and have higher level, the 1k crystals is not that important anymore, since we need much more crystal to upgrade our tank. As a result, players might lost excitement of picking up gold boxes. I have noticed that the probability of a gold box dropping has increased, may be that's because now players can buy them with US$1. Which is a good thing as a point of view of a player. 

 

While I suggest to decrease the drop rate of gold box and in adjust the amount of crystal players gain from according to their level.

 

i.e. higher rank player gain more crystal from gold boxes comparing to that of lower ranks.

Double Experience Supply!!

good idea.

 

There should also be a electro-static supply that allows the user to make the victim's turret jerk sideways at random times for 10-15 seconds.

Idea about ALL supplies In general!! 

This will allow a whole slew of extra supply ideas to be included, without any one tank being over powered, per level. 

This will also SOLVE those who hate DRUGGERS from using too many different supplies in one battle. 

This will also let Tanki's custom their supply options like they custom their HULL, TURRET, PROTECTION MODULE, AND PAINT!!

 

My Idea?? 

SUPPLY SLOTS! TO be customized in the GARAGE!! Customized to each Hotkey selection! So many ideas are coming out for different supplies on the game, but only so few keys are left to use for in game hot key!! SO... if they allow for limited Supply Slots per hull... say ONLY 3 SLOTs on all M0 Hulls... than +1 slot per M level Hull... til level 4 has +2... M0 has 3x, M1 = 4x, M2 =5x, M3 = 6x, M4 = 8x. Max the supply options at 8! Meanwhile... their could be 10 or more supplies available to purchase, all available at their own Tanki Player level, so higher levels open more favored supplies... so Say low levels allows the mine, but higher level allows the Smoke Mine, where as a higher level could allow Flash Mine! and even higher level could allow Shock mine... However... Just cause you have certain Supplies you've bought inside garage, doesn't mean they are available.

 

Each slot has it's own Hotkey! Now each Tanki commander must decide per battle what supplies he wants to have available per battle! So he has ATTK boost, DEF Boost, Repair, Mine, Smoke, and maybe another supply invented or another... all in his garage, but he only has 3-4 slots? he can only choose 3-4 supplies by choosing which of those supplies take up which slot... by deciding which supply is in which slot... he knows which supply is which hotkey... where as the next tank over... doesn't have the same supply setup... they customize their own SUPPLY SLOTS!!

 

This can open up Tanki to USE ANY? ALL?! of these supplies mentioned here!! Introducing so many more ideas can allow so much more combonations to use on anyone tank! If 6-8 or so HULL + 15 or so TURRETS + so many Protection Modules + So many Paints... you thought that was a quadzillion different Combinations to be used? + so many different Supply combos for SUPPLY SLOTS... and you have nearly infinite Combination options for anyone to use!! 

 

Not everyone would have available the ATTK bonus or DEF bonus, cause they'd likely have something else chosen instead. Not everyone would have available a Repair supply in slot... cause they don't have it chosen!! 

 

Than categorize different Supply options in different categories... Any supply that contributes to Protection, randomly falls on the Supply drop for Armor boost... so not always an armor drop! Same with attack drops... not always an actual ATTK boost on the drop... maybe a supply made to increase rapid fire, or a boost that increases magazines for a short time... these supplies can randomly drop on the ATTK drop... Speed boost? idk diff speed boost categorized supplies... but ... this is a start!!

Backflip/Flip/Flipback Supply!!!

This supply cannot be collected in a battle, but it can be used when your tank is lying upside down. This supply will flip your tank back to an upright position.

This will make it fairer for the players who do not buy and those who cannot afford to.

I think instead of increasing the amount of supplies gain from mission, I prefer limit the  amount of supplies can be used in a battle. e.g. we can only use 5 supplies in total in a single battle.

Well tanki will lose its players. If u want that just go to a Pro battle with only supplies on.

Yes... I do Agree and I did LIKE! One thing they can do to limit supplies for those who dislike supply users (druggers), besides my idea above of Supply Slots... they should limit how often your able to visit your garage per battle! Sometimes, and I do it myself, some people visit their garage more than once per battle. They should limit it, or cost us when we reach the limit, how often one visits their garage, that way, someone can't change tanks more than once per battle, can't stock up on supplies more than once per battle, and if they include my Supply Slot idea, allowing tanki's to have MANY Supply options, but only so many slots to use, would limit how often they visit Garage to adjust their supplies for that battle...

 

If they visit once already, maybe when they try a second visit in same battle, they first are asked, with auto assumption, "Are you sure you wish to spend 250 CRY to visit Garage again?" 

 

Also... as for your increase supply award for completing missions... maybe they increase how much per level... so when your medium level, every mission nets you so much... but when you gain a level that increases!

Though the developers aren't currently accepting new supply ideas, as they have plenty of their own, feel free to share yours! The more details you have, the better. Images? Sketches? Comparisons? Share it all!

 

In the last months, the game character has been essentially deteriorated by permanent overdosed supply users. It certainly is not exaggerated saying that most times there is no more game. Most battles have become simply stupid. Instead of finding ways, playing clever and smart, especially those coming up the ranks lack skills. All they are capable of is permanently using supplies and straight forward head on. Is that fun? Is that a game? Definitely not.

 

There obviously do exist tricks circumventing the use of only one drug after another, since far too many are double-drugged in comparison to what can be found on the field leading to double supply use. It is understood that addicting players to simplistic play by supplies for generating revenues helps the viability of the game. But that may be rather short-lived.

 

That supplies do not replace clever playing demonstrates the K/D rate of many having used multiple times more drugs than I. I never bought a single one, only used those found or received. Still, my K/D rate is far superior than that of many of those overusing drug.

 

The fundamental question is, does tanki.online wants to be a game making fun or does it want to be a playground for those not embracing the idea of playing? Discussion with many other players shows that they are very disappointed, too. Speaking about revenues, they confirmed that they are not inclined buying anything with real money as long as this situation persists. The question for tanki.online thus is, whether it may not lose more than it gains this way.

 

The clear way forward would be:

  1. The amount of supplies used per battle and per day has to be limited to a mximum amount.
  2. Cost of supplies has to be substantially increased.
  3. Mechanisms have to prevent that players can circumvent sequential use, but find ways to multi-use

Will this affect the viability of the game? Most likely not. Not being able to overuse supplies, those players literally vitally depending on supplies for short-lived survival can be expected to invest in protection modules and multiple equipment. As these are far more expensive to which adds development cost for turrets and hulls, it can be expected that they pay even more.

 

Pro Battle pass, yes that is one option, however, a game is a game and not a place for anything else. Factually, the play I entered two years ago has already been destroyed.

well i was thinking.. that if they could do battles in regular games with a icon to indicate drug battles and non-drug battles .. this way players can still do pro pass if they wanted other specialty games.. and allow all players to choose in normal battles .. these battles would be selected just like the maps by the server .. so many drugs and  non drug battles...

Drugs like Double Armor are more beneficial to Heavy Hulls than to Light Hulls and it costs the same. If we had real tanks and wanted to add armor plates to it for protection, we would need four or more times the plates on a Titan than in a Wasp.

 

So my idea is to alter the effect of Double Armor depending on the size of the hull. Here is my idea:

 

Shield Boost (SHB)

Cost: 50cr

Technology: Force field energy that absorbs damage

Duration: 40 secs

Light hull protection: Absorbs 65% of actual damage

Medium hull protection: Absorbs 50% of actual damage

Heavy hull protection: Absorbs 35% of actual damage

Reasons for the difference: With light hulls the energy will be more concentrated because the hull is small; With heavy hulls the energy is stretched thin, sort of speak.


* Numbers could be different.

YES! I liked! I've considered this for some time... Some sort of a Shield! I wasn't sure how to word It though!!

What about a smoke bomb?  Number 6 will activate it, and it can't be seen through, but you can drive and shoot through it. Also the Striker can't lock through it. It should cost about 100 crystals, and the cooldown should be similar to the repair kit. The smoke cloud should last about ten seconds.

I have an idea :rolleyes:  that we need an emergency supply. This supply will give you three things altogether 1: double damage 2: armor 3: speed boost.

It will be cool!
