IDEAS FOR SUPPLIES

 

Idea 1:

 

«Recharge»

- The Recharge is a drug (obviously) that increases your reload speed by "x". and reduces energy consumption by "x".. Recharge only lasts for 15 seconds.

 

Garage Summary

- Increases reload speed by "x" and reduces energy consumption by "x". Great for quick reloading and has a long firing time!

 

Idea 2:

 

«EMP»

- The EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse), when placed sits on the ground like a mine and waits for an enemy to drive over it. When an enemy tank goes over the EMP, the user who drove over it gets a electricity like effect on their screen and loses control of the tank for 3 seconds.

 

Garage Summary

- Stuns enemy tanks for 3 seconds! Great for getaways and traps.

Are u sure?  That's how real tanks are operated.  The driver don't operate the turret and vice versa.  It will take skills and players instinct to learn and operate one tank.  No one says it will wont take skills - this is a game of skill? Yes?  It will add another dimension to the game play - for people already quite good in tanki.  It's a fresh lift to the game - call it the next level for veteran players.  The stronger tank is to make up for more difficult game play ..... it wont enrage others .... unless you are that good and kicked everyone's butts.

1. Is Tanki real life? No...

 

2. In real life they communicate at real time, in Tanki they will have to type in chat what they want to say or talk in a Skype call

 

3. If one person has good wifi and the other has terrible wifi, how would the tank work?

 

My Answer: No, we should not add this

What if we have a diamond box and platinum box.

The diamond box will contain 50k crystals and Platinum will contain 100k crystals. Well for the cost in the shop can be $50 for diamond and $100 for Platinum. As for the dropping in a match, can say one diamond can drop per day and for the platinum, that can fall weekly or once every three days. 

Just something new

 

I would rather buy crystals in the shop when I have the double crystal card...

when you pick up a double damage there would be 5 shots with double damage. So if you got 10 double damage boxes there would be 50 shots of double damage. you could change from double damage to standard shots even if you have double damage left

How would five shots with Firebird, Freeze, Isida, and Vulcan work? If Vulcan had 5 shots, WOW, it would be terrible with DD.

if you remember that april fools day one good thing.

Immortality supply should be good and it is worth 300 crys - 10 sec.

you can't be sure it always helps.

Many players can get without any drug.

Also if someone uses then he will get 700 crystal profit.

(repair box; double damage; speed boost; double armor)

If the person who uses the Gold box, then gets the gold box (with the immortality drug) they would make 700+ crystals. If they summoned the gold box and did not use any drugs, they would get a 1000+ crystal profit. Many people can catch gold boxes without drugs, like you said, but me... I have seen so many but could not get them... :( always that one guy who does not care for crystals and just kills everybody... Edited by KaBoomIGo

I don't know about this but I'm going to introduce to you.. The Freeze drug...

 

This is a drug that, when activated, freezes all your opponents for 12 seconds, just enough to make that Sandbox capture without a sweat. But beware, all Vulcan turrets can inch their way out of this one. They just need to fire until overheat. Or if a frozen Firebird is close he just needs to fire on another frozen tank. A message comes as to who's activated the drug. Besides, it would cost approximately 250 crystals and will be dropped in battles very rarely like gold boxes. The catch: The marker doesn't show up until it's dropped

 

Hope its a good drug :)

My idea is, we are able to activate one of the supplies for our teammate, one at a time. If you use supply for your teammate, there will be a cool down for you and your teammate once the supply is activate to avoid spamming of supplies by multiple teammates.
This will also make the battles more strategic. 

Feel free to discuss. If you guys got better ideas to add into this, feel free to comment down.

It was few months ago in my mind. There would be text in color of supply. And name who drop that supply

How about this one:

Incendiary Mines

This mine will be a remote detonated mine, OR have a proximity detonation like standard mines. It depends on which detonation tactic is used first. What the mine will do is explode in a radius of about 5 meters (The length of Hornet for those who are unfamiliar with distances in Tanki), and then INSTANTLY super heat any enemy tanks to the maximum temperature possible of an M4 Firebird. It will deal NO INITIAL DAMAGE, meaning the mine relies on the super heating effect to kill enemies. The super heating can be reversed by allied Isidas and Freezes, and can be reversed via a repair kit. Each mine will have a 1 minute cool down, and will cost 100 crystals each. The cooldown of these mines will be linked to standard mines, meaning if you drop an incendiary mine, you will also start the cooldown for the standard mines.

 

I think this would be a cool idea, and it wouldn't be too OP either. Let me know what you think.

It would also have to damage your tank. Well it should

After recent in-game trails using different cool-downs etc for drugging, I gave some thought to this.

 

People who have no drugs will always complain about those that do. However, it IS possible to make the difference less.

 

Furthermore, there is an issue between people of differing ranks or equipment levels who both drugs.

 

The reason for this disparity is that drugs work by MULTIPLYING the armour/firepower/speed.

Let us examine the consequences.

 

 

Player A has 1000 armour points while Player B has 1500.

Player B therefore has a benefit of 500, due to his/her heavier hull or M3 vs M2 equipment.

 

 

Say both decide to use double-armour. 

 

Player A now has 2000 amrour points while Player B has 3000. Now the difference is 1000 in favour of the already higher ranking or better equipped Player B. 

 

Thus, drugging benefits most those players who already have the most advantage.

My proposal is extremely simply in principle, although I am not a programmer so I'm sure it is less simple than people might think to implement. 

 

 

Instead of MULTIPLYING the stats of a player, drugs should simply add-on. (everything else such as cool-down remain the same)

 

In an ideal world the amount it adds would be a function of the average stats of all those players in any one battle at the time. But for simpler implementation it could simply be a flat amount.

What happens now? Lets see...

 

 

Using our original example of 1000 vs 1500 points, let's say the armour drug adds 1000 to all tanks.

 

 

Now, after drugging, Player A has 2000 armour and Player B has 2500 armour. Still more, but only the same advantage as previously (but considerably more than Player C who already used his armour recently and now must wait)

The overall effect imo would be that lower ranks would be more inclined to fight longer harder and use drugs against higher ranks etc rather than simply giving up. 

 

For all players, the experience of advancing through the game would now mean that you become more and more able to compete with the ranks above you while retaining the advantage that drugs give you against someone that doesn't use them or who has timed their usage in the battle badly.

 

I would think that drugs use would at least remain profitable if not increase, while removing some of the unjust nature of the current system.
