Ideas for Supplies and Drones!

Hmmm, so we are getting hull abilities, and we have turret alterations.

 

What about a supply 'Flare' that when used, a small air strike hits the spot a few seconds later, of course, the supply shouldn't be OP but would have a damage radius smaller than that of a magnums shell, and up to 4 shells with a quarter damage that mines deal.

 

Shell count - 4

Damage per shell - 300-600

Shell drop radius - 5m

Splash damage radius 5m

Time for shells to reach the ground from the time flare was used - 5s

Time between each shell dropping - 0.25s

Cooldown times - N/A

Cost - considering mines are 50, and this deals a min damage, but with some splash, maybe around 150? It would seem to be as worth as much as a repair kit. But would really change the gameplay I reckon.

 

Of course, there are many ways to use this supply, although must be used wisely, due to the radius it might hit building roofs instead making it a waste, but 5s is enough to get yourself out of the damage radius.

 

The idea is kinda complex, in parkour this would become hazardous for certain.

I have an idea for a smoke-strike supply. Let assume its given the 7th key. The smoke-supply can be bought for 100 crystals in the garage and temporarily shrouds the selected area in smoke. It shows a view of the entire map, so you can pin-point a location to strike. Useful as anti-Magnum, and can help with flag captures. Maybe 60 second cool-down?

 

Pros

 

Another source of income for Tanki.

Ability to reduce enemy's sight temporarily.

 

Cons

 

Full view of the map may lead to problems.

Unable to fire while in "scope" mode, leaving you temporarily defenceless.

If someone kills you while you targeting, you would have wasted 100 crystals.

 


Overall I think this would be a nice addition to this game.

Until when there will be this shift drugging? I like it, but perhaps it is tooooo often. Reload time should be longer.

 

My idea for a supply, I repeat, is the Double Fire time/Fire rate.

 

A blue box that will make isida, fire, freeze, vulcan, have double firing time, and that shaft, magnum, striker, railgun, ricochet, thunder, hammer, smoky, get reloading twice faster. The problem is with twins, so perhaps they can shoot 4 plasma balls instead of 2, or just shoot those 2 faster.

You should make a supply to slightly increase the firing rate. That might be interesting...

 

This will be Viking's Overdrive. No need to implement.

Spells are like overdrives and supplies. But with other features.

 

Spells will cost crystals to buy. Once you buy a spell you will be able to use it permanently, but every spell will take a time to use.

 

There will be a Spell section in the garage. To buy spells and upgrade them.

You will be able to activate 1 spell not all the spells at that moment. Just like overdrive when it recharges it can be used again.

Spells I suggest:

 

 



Freeze

 

Freezes all tanks near you, for few seconds. Doesn't damage it just freezes more than Freeze turret.

 

Fire

 

Fires all tanks near you, for few seconds. It does damage and it's like the firebird turret, but more damages & fire duration time.

 

Self-defense

 

Kills all all tanks that are near you, shooting you or aiming at you for few seconds.

 

Immortal

 

You will get very less damage while activating this. The rest of the damage will be blocked for few seconds.

 

Invisible

 

You will be invisible while activating this. You will be able to be damaged, but you will be invisible for few seconds.

 

Anti-Overdrive

 

This will block the usage of overdrive for the opponent team for few seconds. They wont be able to activate overdrives for few seconds.

 

Boxes

 

When activating this, all supply boxes will appear on the battle.

 

 

 

 

Remember to make anti-cheat system for this so hackers can't hack spells and use many spells at once.. ( If this idea was implemented.

Sounds exactly like overdrives and supplies. Just giving it a different name doesn't make it into a brand new feature. You're just suggesting ideas for new supplies and/or overdrives.

 

Not to mention that the idea of "spells" in a sci-fi game about tanks is a bit ridiculous...

Well, if you don't have enough crystals to buy supplies - you can't get a good result in battles.

In almost every battle I've been, everyone is using supplies. Obviously, your amount of supplies is more important than your skills.

TO became an pay-to-win game, if you don't have enough money to buy supplies - you are doomed in battles.

I think that what we have all waiting for is this:

 

my idea for a supply is:

 

A supply that will freeze others, the way it would work is when you press 7 all tanks within the range of 5 meters will get frozen for 10 seconds. and if they get killed during the time they will still be frozen when they re-spawn.

The supply would cost 120 crystals, the cool down time would be 40 seconds so that  unprofessional players couldn't just troll others all the time.

 

My name ideas:

Freezer, Winter, Snow Flake, Snow.

There is a problem with Overdrive's repair kit, it can be exploited just like the old repair kit. Consider this scenario: a firebird with DA is chasing a Viking-Twins. The Twins actvates Overdrive when it's HP is nearly empty, and effectively recieves 2000 HP. This is all fine. He eventually kills the firebird, and immidiately uses a second repair kit. This should not be possilble. The repair kit should be on cooldown until Overdrive finishes.

One idea for an item would be an invincible box. It falls once a game, randomly timed, but not at the same time as a gold box. They cannot be bought, only dropped. They will make a player invincible for 30 seconds, while also giving the player infinite reload, meaning no reload time for the player who catches the box. All other players on the map will receive a health boost when the box is caught. When the effects of the box wear off, the player who caught it will self-destruct immediately.

That would be too overpowered.

SUPPLIES - ONLY IN PRO BATTLES

 

As you know, the game is flooded with "druggers" and the chance to find a fair battle is lower and lower.

If you are not a "drugger" or a buyer, your chance of having advantage in battle is minimal. 

So, my idea is to allow supplies usage only in PRO battles. You are probably asking why?

Well, imagine TO without druggers:

 

- the battle would be more fair and all players could fight equally.

- the battle would be more interesting and intense.

- earning crystals would be easier.

- in DM battles, there won't be a situation where 3-4 druggers are dominating and crushing weaker players (non-druggers / non-buyers).

- you would prove your skills, not your amount of crystals.

 

So, in regular battles, supplies would be disabled. Other options would stay the same as they are now.

Only, in PRO battles - supplies would be allowed. Because the majority of druggers are buyers, if they have enough crystals to buy supplies, they can buy a PRO pass. Also, daily missions which contain supplies as a price would be unlocked after buying the PRO pass. So, non-druggers will only have missions which contain crystals as a price.

 

I'm suggesting this because the game has become unfair, the domination of buyers is obvious (especially after introducing the overpowered Magnum turret). Tanki should be a fair game where players can show their skills and strategies in battles, not how many crystals or supplies do they have.

 

If you want to have a fair battle, you don't have to spend money on crystals / supplies.

If you want to have a supplies party, buy a PRO pass and enjoy.
