The administation decided to let players catch gold boxes with the chance of the location they are in;not with the challange of catching gold box;

 

That's the fact. Also you can be fast and look where does gold box drop box logo is,then you can stand and wait for it.

Plus,larger maps/lower chance of getting gold boxes. Try to play on small maps like Island,which the chance of getting gold box is pretty high.

Gold box drops anywhere in the map, it's random. This is not a problem.
