Yes you may you have my permission.  You may also find my post in the Valentine Day sales which also received some support from other like minded players.  You may post that as well!  If you can not find it I will post it here.

You are right, there can't be 50% off every sale, or that would be overpowered. The game would be unbalanced, and there would be much more druggers, despite the smart cooldowns.

Well tanki is worth 6 million dollars so it won't be closing down anytime soon. However the simple fact of the matter is that 50% sales are needed for a persons success, Last year we had a 70 % sale on firebird and its protection paint which IMHO makes way more sense. To be successful in tanki requires strong persistence, in other words for majority of people its to expensive to buy and its to hard to earn and to buy full price (unless ofc u spend hours playing, which becomes pretty lame fast), 50 % sales are the only way out for normal players and small buyers, so just like many i shall be hopping on mayday sale for 50% sale ( never was expecting 50% from this sale just 70% of firebird).

If the people think that they will have a career in tanki on line , they are sadly mistaken.

This is a computer game that is geared to young kids who are not even old enough to work yet.

They will have to broaden their horizon to make money.

They will not make money just off of tanki on line.

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly with everything. Can't people just be happy that it doesn't cost money to get the game in the first place? Now they have to complain that it takes too long to get through it? My response to those who think this game takes too long to get through: Is life too long for you as well little ones?

I am really sorry to come to conclusion that this topic is made by st_pid people or by people with serious maths issues or simply by people that are on Tanki's payroll.

 

All you that say that Tanki needs this fiscal policy to just keep existing could not be more wrong. Just calculate the players, the average items for sale, the average cost of the garage and see how much it makes.

Tanki is bussiness and it aims towards maximum profit. Not survival.

 

For instance,

Hammer, Vulkan and all the relative paints are a total cost of more than 3 million crystals. How much of this is going to be earned in battle, how much is going to be cut off due to a sale and how much is going to be paid through real money? Just do the darned math!

If one player wants to get one of the two turrets and half the paints that's more than 100 $. Now multiply with small time buyers and big time buyers and start figuring out aproximate money Tanki earns.

And stop writing st_pid things like that.

It can be by ignoring facts and basic data like those I mentioned.

 

Tanki is a very successful business so far, its decision to reduce free progress in game and increase total cost per player just multiplies its profit.

 

Is it good for them? Certainly.

 

Is it bad for players? That too.

 

Is it a successful strategy in the long term? That remains to be decided.

 

But what's wrong is this; players asking other players to stop asking for bigger discounts. The first ones are standing on the wrong side.

If people who support the game by buying start getting free crystals, and 50% sales whenever you guys want them bad things would happen. They would stop buying, or buy at a slower rate, and tanki would slowly go bankrupt. Not necessarilly that fast, it could take years for this to happen, who knows how much money Tanki has stored away, but staffing would go down, frequency of updates, new turrets and hulls, and eventually it would become one of those games we all despise: the game where they BEG for money, with all the "deals" on buying. And at the end of every round there would be an option: "Watch this 30 second video for 50 FREE crystals or watch this 15 second one for nothing!"

 

    So all you buyers out there, despised in the chat and hated in the forums: UNITE! Lets keep Tanki free for those who want it free, and for those who want anything better; BUY!

Tanki is not going to be poor by giving 50% sale . Major earning of tanki is from drugs people buy (I think so) . There are many players who won't even wait for sale . People can ask for 50% sale coz that make tanki understand what players want .

I agree with the last part, convincing small children to part with their piggy bank for the sake of a virtual tank is wrong. But most buyers are competent, able people with jobs. So please go be annoying, somewhere else.

Personally, I think you're not moron but just a paid voice, hired to mess with players' minds.

 

FYI I am a buyer. And I am three times the average age that plays Tanki. And I have enough fiscal experience to know that what you're saying is just... well, you know what.

Tanki has turned greedy, period. It's a mistake, that's my opinion. It's going to loose players, existing and potential ones. Others have explained how.

So, here's my proposal to you. YOU leave and stop adding lies because sooner or later people will understand what is going on.
