Freeze rewards

I thought it would be kinda cool if Firebird and Freeze could also get additional XP by unfreezing/cooling teammates. I mean, Isida can heal teammates and is given XP for that, so why not Firebird and Freeze as well? These turrets are used in nearly every battle and are fun to use, so why not making their usage even more fun :­P

I don't really see many players unfreezing/cooling other players, it's not widely used due to most people not even knowing it. Moreover, the burning/freezing effect at M0, M1 and M2 isn't very long, and it disappears quickly, so Devs (if they ever implement this) will put a maximum of 1-3 XP if you do it, which honestly means you're wasting your reservoir.

I Agree This Idea , It Makes the Players Atleast to Help Teammates in Battles no matter what XP they get :)

I am stunned at the numbers of players that don't know it. If I see a Freeze attacking my team mate I make sure my flames cover both of them so my team mate is unfrozen. Likewise if I ever used Freeze I would use it to cool off someone who was roasting.

 

But....

 

I think that Freeze should get more XP for cooling someone off than Firebird should get for unfreezing someone since the freeze effect doesn't take health once the enemy is killed (compared to the afterburn which can have deadly consequences).

I agree somewhat with @The.Devourer. I don't see players doing these kinds of things. Plus, I don't think this will ever be in the game, nor do I agree with the idea in general. Cooling a player is a common courtesy, you should not have to be rewarded for it.

I don't really see many players unfreezing/cooling other players, it's not widely used due to most people not even knowing it. 

At M3 there's quite a few players, who know how to do it and they use this feature often. Every time they extinguish/warm up a teammate they are using up their fuel which they could instead use to kill an enemy and get XP, so giving XP for helping teammates like that should encourage fire and freeze users to use that feature more often.

Again, I feel like this is a common courtesy, that shouldn't have to be rewarded.

This is a special feature of isida...its just like all turrets have their own unique feature....

applying this feature to firebird/freeze will reduce its uniqueness...isnt it?

You aren't healing them. It wastes fuel that could be used to attack an opponent, so, a small amount of XP seems to be a reasonable reward for it.

 

Cooling down a roasting tank is a vital characteristic of Freeze and it annoys the hell out of me when a Freeze on my team doesn't cool anyone off.
