i see often people asking are you a mods or some tell they are  mods and they are not.

and sometime mod waste time answering about the question ( are you a mods )

I sugest a different color for the name of the chat moderator or candidate ...

official moderator name could have the color ( Gold )

and the candidate name could have the color (silver )

something like that  ,,,, tank you

Well, on the forum, forum mods are already orange, even candidate's.

If you're talking in-game chat, then this isn't a bad idea, but silver and gold aren't the best of colors.

Moreover, the only people that would really need this is chat mods ... as forum, FB, reports and other staff don't operate the in-game chat.

The only disadvantage would be, the mod would get spammed really bad by new players.

I think that this is an AWESOME idea, especially since false "MODS" will be identified easier, but here are some tweaks:

  • Moderators can disable this option if needed to prevent spam.
  • Each Moderator/Administrator/Developer/ect has a different color: Developer, Administrator, Moderator, Facebook Moderator, Consultant, Helper, Tester, Commentator, Moderator Candidate, ect........
  • When you hover the mouse over the staff members' name, you will see what position he/she is currently in. (E.G. Moderator, Administrator, Developer.....)

Some people have difficulty learning the avatars and more colours won't help. But it's a nice idea. The current forum colours don't specify the jobs, they are designed to specify the powers each person has in the forum.

And while every staffer within a hundred mile radius responds... I figured I'd jump in too.

If I did hear correctly from Semyon, such a thing might be feasible with the Unity system, though this would create increasing problems with flooding. Chat Mods now have to help players, and ban, meaning they multitask already like nuts. These guys work hard, I see no reason to present yet another reason to overwork them. Furthermore, if you don't believe someone is a Mod, it's really easy to look them up on the forum.

but who helps tanki online to improve by punishing and warning

if they r identified easily

tons of people will ask a mod fr some solution

if mods r identified, there should be some option which dosent show whether they online,r friend rrequest, invitation, etc.doing these things is tough

no colours fr mods in chat

already they hv colour paints fr them

Like most of the mods said, spam is a big problem, especially when working in the lower ranked servers, like EN6 and EN7 (aka "Wild West")
