Can't stop, Won't stop

Hello everyone, I decided to make this topic because as we all know there's people out there who try to bring other people down, I read through the topics at times, people post an idea, and someone is ready to try and bring that person down, typing things such as: "bad idea, noob, downvote" and many more negative things, well I want to tell you guys, if you have an idea, you tell that idea to the world, don't be afraid of what people will think or say, even if it's many people against you, if you back down and keep quiet, the negative people will get stronger, you have to show that you're not afraid, and that you will speak up, no matter what they do, so what if they all call you noob, or other names, remember what your real name is

Another piece of motivation,

constructive critisism is the best youd get, "bad idea, noob, downvote" shows that they dont agree, its a rather rude way but,

"its not about how hard you hit. its about how hard you can get hit and keep going"

The thing is nobody should criticise, people have different opinions, because people are different, so if I come up with an idea, or a suggestion, you may not like it, but you can't be rude to me, or call me names, people discuss, in an educated manner, not try to make other people feel stupid or bad, and everyone else gangs up, and all attack the same person

Criticism is basically in everything, it can be good and bad.

If you come up with an idea, it is wrong to rudely critices, but its simply how they feel. if alot of people  say its bad, well, chances are its bad.

Welcome to reality, its abusive, mean, unfair, and rewarding.

if you come up with a new way to make coffee (idk, dont ask why i chose coffee) well, its probably not perfect. so people would most likely suggest changes to make it better, onve youve perfected it to the point where there are very few people who disagree, its ready to become the new way for making coffee,

youve created a model/rough draft

youve taken suggestions and changed it a little to other peoples liking

and then your left with your final outcome. A tweaked idea that not only you, but others like to.

This is what is wrong in this world, just because many people say it's right, or it's wrong, it doesn't mean it either way, the quantity should not beat the quality, that's why I said, even if there's many people against you, people are afraid to speak out because they know they will get attacked, and this isn't right, everyone has the right to express their opinions, and not be called any name, or abused, offended, or any other type of oppression, freedom of speech, people have battled years for this, and we have to keep battling to keep it that way, there's people who are too scared to speak their mind, and aggregate with the majority, without even knowing what the argument is, this is another big problem, everyone should have their own thoughts, if you don't have your own thought don't aggregate to feel big, stop what you're doing, and start thinking

I hate when normal people who doesn't understand the rules act like moderators... they make any idea "against the rules"

This happens all the time, sometimes they are right, sometimes they make up things to try and get you into trouble, on the lobby every second someone types, so and so is breaking the rules, but don't worry about this, because they moderators are there, and they know what is going on, and people who say they are mods but are not mods, get banned

mods dont give us enough freedom of speech so we have to stand up against them not to agree to every thing they say

They don't give too much freedom because they want to avoid trouble, if there were no rules on this game things would be crazy, you can communicate without having to use bad words, talking, calmly, is the right way, I'm not saying I never get angry, everyone does, but we have to learn to control ourselves and express our thoughts in a civil way

rules are meant to be broken but some mods dont want others to criticizing so they use their "power" to suppress it

Yes I know what you mean, obviously they are protecting their game, some people are rude, and say bad things about the people who work for the tanki project, which brings us back to the freedom of speech, they accept that you may not like something, but won't accept being called names

the ones who say bad about other players are mostly m3 players

they call everyone noob & expects everyone to respect them

they demand for respect but most of the time no one cares

You alien bro? -.- without criticism this world won't have evolved to this stage. It's constructive criticism that gives birth to new ideas on overcoming those critiques. A great example for this would be the parliament system. Without criticism we won't be where we are today....

Quite a contradiction. If nobody ever gave criticism, then they really wouldn't have different opinions, no?

I believe you're confusing "flaming" with "criticism". Two very similar and different things at the same time.

See great example here, are you alien, this is exactly what I mean, in fact there's a term, alienated, people who are made to feel bad about themselves for having a different opinion, people who get excluded, I'm not an alien, or maybe I am, but criticism doesn't help anybody get anywhere, no one has the right to criticise anyone, you can have an opinion, and you can express it, but it has to be done in an educated way

Well, many of the ideas/suggestions that people give have already been asked and denied many times (e.g. the sell function) I do think that can be a factor of it as well, as it can be frustrating to see the same topics over and over again, and may use their frustration to push the down-vote button, or call people noobs. That's what I think.

Criticism is one thing, opinion another, criticism is judging, opinion is sharing your thoughts but accepting people's differences

I know that many topics come up very often, but you also have to take into account, that people move at different rates, and of course the new players, every stage has it's problems, one topic that comes up a lot is the laser on shaft, if it was up to me, there's would be countless topics about that, but of course we have to accept this change to the game, so taking out your frustrations on other people isn't the way to go

I can see this topic becoming quite the argument, as most of his topics usually turn out, sorry to say....

Quite the motivational paragraph, though.......

My topics may look bad, but people who have their own mind understand them, and take good things from them, obviously there's people who have no mind of their own and just want to upset people, and this is why I made this topic, I don't care what people think of me, I will keep going, for myself, and for all those people who are scared, I will be their strength, they will take energy from me, and become stronger people

That is true, I just think the search function needs to be emphasized alot more, or some kind of forum guide that pops up when new players join the forum.

It would only be natural for such topics to be closed at a faster rate due to the over-repetition of the subject. If it's been put in the Do Not Suggest List (especially by Staff), then it would most likely stay there. Subjectively speaking, it does get quite annoying after some time. The community's responses to those topics aren't really controllable--it just goes to show the current health/toxicity of the TO community present.

people who treat people differently by rank have problems, they have been taught wrong, rank doesn't matter, some people are better than others, some have played longer, some have more free time, and of course there's the difference of age, but we're all people, and we all should be respected and respect others, I talk to everyone the same, whether they are low or high, for me everyone is the same, and I accept friend requests from everyone

Oh man. I think this was why, a long time ago, Tanki Online chose NOT to have an Ideas/Suggestion section on the forums.

Instead, all ideas went to a whole entirely different website. I was one of those guys who argued that the Ideas/Suggestions forums should be located here in the forums where everybody can have an easier time accessing it, but then I realized that there are those who can't take criticism at all.

It's known that even though a majority may agree on something, it may be wrong. Somehow, a whole crowd of people may think that 1+1 = 3, when it equals 2, I get it. Though I think you also miss out on another way of looking at things. These ideas/suggestions people input should not be narrow-minded and selfish, or coming from just ONE point of view. These ideas suggested are presumably changes to the game (Tanki Online). In doing so, it will affect everybody. You alone do not make up 100% of the community, nor a majority. The game does not revolve around you, sorry. So when many people dislike your idea, and attack it, I think you should not overreact, something you tend to do frequently. Furthermore, you also attack with insults, sometimes derailing whole threads even though the person you replied to had a genuine interest in holding a valid conversation. But anyways, if many people dislike your idea, you should take a look at why others don't like your idea, and work on improving it so that both you, and the rest of the community likes it. Or in other words, a compromise. When you try to force something like that, saying that it HAS to be a certain way, or when you present restrictions in the game that are so extreme, you will meet equally radical and extreme replies.

Same thing applies to your other idea, about not letting tanks get on top of each other because of when you used Mammoth, saboteurs tried to "bother" you. The basic idea of teamwork is top priority, and that those people should not be doing that is universally accepted. However, the idea that you chose to go with to stop that problem is what people disagree with.

And I really do suppose you re-read your posts before posting them. You also have a problem with attacking others indirectly, and directly. In early stages, it is mostly indirectly, such as calling people who agree with your ideas smart, etc., and everybody else the opposite. And then when they respond with hostility against your posts that insulted them first, you act like you never insulted anybody. This is something I think you should work on if you want to be respected. You must respect others as well.
