Who do you think could qualify for Tanki staff?

Even after getting a position in staff, they will have to continue helping. So, just helping for sake of becoming staff members won't help.

You didn't get my point.

Recommending a currently banned person for chat moderator.

I never bothered to open up the profile  I just saw her helping in a unique style, long ago - about a month or two. Since then, never saw her again, but just saw her helping, that it made me write her name. My mistake :p

I would have to disagree with that. Helping out on the forum/trying to help out in the forum is a time consuming job. One needs to be dedicated and patient. You can only do this job if you actually like helping people. Without that feeling, I don't know how long you will last. Of someone tries to do this job with sole motive of fame, he will get bored pretty soon.

As for the answers, most people just don't read the FAQ section and the wiki. Their lag and other problems are solved by those topics. A minority reads all those links and before asking question. For such players, we need information about their system configuration, Internet connection, etc. Most of the times, there is problem with their computer or Internet connection and can only be solved from their side.

Adding to that, a person who is always helping, might be called 'nolifer' in some way, that itself is quite weird - why'd he do that 24/7? A person be like, something's fishy. The admins are smart enough to judge a person by his application too. So we all can very well understand who is trying to be who, and as they say: never judge a book by it's cover ;)

The admins aren't gods. An application is barely enough to get to know about a player. One can easily present oneself differently on the internet and hide their true intent behind seeking a staff position through the veil of the internet. I'm not really sure about how they accept candidates, but if they do conduct face-to-face Skype interviews, then yes, maybe that can reveal more about the person.

I would certainly love to be a Wiki editor and will apply if they ever open applications. But due to my age I doubt they would want me.

You misunderstood my point. I will say this though- you are one of the most helpful players around. But if you look at others and how they help, they don't seem to have an appeal to the player they help. Every time they post, they sound like a robot. That's what I also meant on what I said. Some helping players don't try to understand what the person needs help with before posting. They just say what they think is the solution. They don't think about the situation first, they just post what they think would help.

So as someone who has seen players help on the forum for a while, I would tell you this: Have some sort of interesting way to talk to players. Don't just say the solution, make the player feel welcome with the solution you will be telling them. That's what one of my good friends did back then.
