@pigsrule, I again apologise for my comment but if you ask anyone's unbiased opinion, it was rather arrogant in nature.

 

However, don't give up on the staff position just because you have been critical of things in the past. As FBI said, it doesn't matter as long as you are willing to change yourself and keep your criticism constructive and professional.

Thus I thankyou for the support and I know you mean well, I however much conclude that I do not wish to become a member of staff as I have been very critical of things and it would be in the best interests of everyone if I did not become a person in a position of trust.

Your forum commitement is commendable.

I haven't seen you being to critical in the forum? I'm sure being slightly critical in situations can't be enough to stop you from being staff entirely.

Like what other posters said earlier, if someone can change and work hard, their more than qualified. You can't have an earlier counterpart of you judge the present you. People change with time you know that ;). I'm sure that if you were to ask any mod, they'd say that they weren't always the fresh, mature, clean-cut self they are today. I'm sure there are some members here who think you would do a very good job for the community. It never hurts to try.

This is an interesting topic, and it's fun to see what the community thinks about the matter.

 

Though I would like to point out; there is more to joining the staff than being social and friendly. You have to speak English well, and with fluent articulation. You must possess a thorough knowledge of the game, the forum, and all extensions of the game. Your karma must be rather clean. How can you enforce the rules if you can't even follow them? And so on and so forth.

 

This is not to say that individuals on the list at present do not possess these qualities, but it is something that should be kept in mind. And if anyone is interested in what a Forum Moderator does, and what it takes to be one, please do take a look here: Forum Moderators.

You mean eSports Officials. Yes, they are very few and they need more. There's currently one candidate, 2 officials.

maybe Kevred, Lordmostafa, Renoun? They do have duelist pages and are pretty active. There are plenty of forum mods already plus more joining the staff. Maybe they could shift to eSports?

I don't know that just because they have active duelist pages means they are qualified for Clan Moderator, but that's just me.

Hirun left tanki and also his staff position due to his real life workload/studies. (Im trying to convince him to return to tanki these days. :D) It should also be noted that he was the lowest ranked guy to reach a staff position. ( An official TO record holder :D )
