The solution would be that if a player uses M2 Smoky while in M3 Ranks, he should be able to use his choice till the unlcok rank for the next variant. And if he doesn't have enough crystals to buy it, he still will be able to use the M2.

Like I said, if M3s are not in the players' garage yet, he can use M2s.

But that would cause frustration. You did not see my previous post. I said, that if a tanker wants to use his Smoky M2 at Brigadier,and has Thunder M3, He would not be able to do so because he has an M3 AND is a Brigadier, which is an M3 Rank. For him his previous M2s such as Smoky, Twins, Fire would become obsolete.

yes! i agree with hamza because i'm already warrant officer 1, and all i have is m0 equips. i cant afford to buy crys, and i spend the rest of them on micro upgrades. The idea is ridiculous because not everyone has the money for macro upgrades! i don't! agreed that some people at first sergeant and sergeant major have mostly m1 firebirds, but i didn't even have rico, and that's because the cry distribution in the game is also ridiculous. think about it. you've got 500 battle points, and the battle fund is 3000, but all you get is a measly 300 crys! AT BEST! think about what you're asking...

Good but what about rank up parties? What if the ranker wants everyone to use Wasp and a Gen only has it M0?

We have not suggested this because we were busy suggesting a better idea. I am sure you remember that at least I at some point suggested that the system automatically figure out who is multing (performing below their rank and in comparison to similar ranks in the battle) and kicking them out.

 

If you do that, you do not need this rule. Also, if someone somehow can adequately take out gismos with M0 equipment, more power to them.

 

That said, I am sure they will soon add an option to PRO battles to choose minimum and maximum equipment class. :)

They can require M1 at the rank where all M1 equipment has been unlocked, i.e. WO5, and M2 at Brigadier since all M2 has been unlocked.

 

Since I think they are going to add this option to PRO battles, I think this is a moot point. The creator of a battle can decide what equipment should be used in the battle. It can default to what I said above or be unrestricted.

There is ONE problem though. If someone wants to buy M2 Smoky after M3 Thunder, he would not be able to be use it at all.

That restriction is silly. I am sure it is not going to go through, at least not be automated. So, I suggest not to worry about it.
