Hi all. The are a lot of hackers in the game. Today I saw 5 jumphackers stealing goldboxes and jumping on the buildings. A lot of report them by /Vote command but they are still playing. What is Vote command for if no one moderator "comes to the rescue"... Jump and fly hacks are very popular now. I wan't to ask what do tanki gonna do with hackers?

I often ask myself the same question. The only conclusion I was able to come up with was "Find a way to wake the developers up."

The developers do whatever they can to stop hacking. If they could utterly prevent it, they would. The /vote command rarely helps, I agree. But at least it exists.

Report game violators, including fly hackers, in the Game Violators section. If you have sufficient evidence, they will be blocked from playing the game again.

The main problem is lack of available chat moderators, who can come to help. For the thousands of players being online at the same time there are no more than 50 moderatorson duty. Usually around 15-20

. You can't possibly expect them to instantly respond to every reporting instance as there are simply too many. Also, keep in mind that a moderator won't come unless more than half of the players reported someone in the same battle.

It's not an ideal system and does need a lot of improvement, but it's the only one we have at the moment.

Download Bandicam, it's free, and you can record every gold, so when a hacker comes, you can upload the video (raw video without any edits, it's enough) to youtube, and report him ;)

Done this 2 times... Both blocked

Its really easy... get bandicam or hypercam (recomended by me) and whenever gold warning goes off, start recording. If a hacker ever takes it, than find the video file, and upload it on youtube. Then just create a new section in the game violators. It takes like ten minutes.

Emrakul if I will start to record every hacker I'll have no time to play :D

Speaking of jump hackers, I saw one today. I reported him nothing happened, except for at one point of the game he left, but then he joined again.

When we /vote someone, does anyone even come and check?

But, there are some games which CAN handle thousands of players and when you report, they seem to do a very efficient job of banning people, hackers or violaters, perhaps we need to hire more mods :p

Yea I think the goldhunter of this week will be jumphacker

By Tanki reviewing golds taken by players, it should be easy to focus their attention on those players as several of the major gold hunters are cheating in one form or another, either by hacks or through collusion with total disregard of the battle, only maintaining optimal location in the event of a notification.

But it is just a result of the dynamics of the game, from the old days of camping for gold, to crystal box farmers, and now the gold box hunters, as takeovers are far more difficult now with the balanced fund distribution, players no longer leave battles of wide margin for another game and prefer to stay to the end.

These are the same players who have always used these methods to fund their accounts throughout there careers, just changing tactics as the game changes, they will always try to beat the system.

My opinion just forget about the gold boxes and have fun playing the game.
