Hello tankers and readers – Usually I presented new parkour articles about how to, funny facts and guides, but today the article about parkour will be a bit different! To celebrate The Flying Parkourists’ achievement of 500 subscribers we wanted to create something special for our supporters! First of all we were thinking about a cool video or something, but then we thought about one of TankiTV’s events called ‘Parkour Minehunts’. We combined the idea with a kinda of fanmeeting to get in touch with ‘The Flying Parkourists’!

Fun with… What?

 

‘Fun with TFP’ – An old event with a totally new look. In the past there have been events before where The Flying Parkourists parkour for fun with random people. This will be a part of the event, but there’s more! We also will add a mine hun tand a short photoshoot moment to the event. Sounds fun, right?

 

The Minehunt – After the link is published the event will kick off with a mine hunt. In the chosen map will be posted sereral mines which you have to destroy. If the event will be successful prizes might be added and yes – You might need some parkour to destroy every single mine!

 

The Photoshoot – Once the mines are destroyed it’s time for a short break. During this break you can chat a bit with the other participants and make some cool pictures with the other tankers.

 

Parkour-Time – At the end of the event there’s time for parkour! Before each event we will publish a guide in exactly the same map as the event. During the ‘Parkour-Time’ you can redo the tricks with The Flying Parkourists and other tankers. Do you have your own ideas? Share them and of course: try ‘em out!

FAQ

 

So, thats basically what you can expect at the event, but you might have more questions! In this short FAQ you might find all information you need for the upcoming events.

 

• When will it take place?  –  It will take place in weekends on Fridays or Saturdays; each event will be announced on YouTube, Facebook and of course in our forumthread.
• What ranks can join?  –  Sadly enough the rank limits changed, so only majors till generalissimos can join the event.
• How to join the battle?  –  The link will be posted in the Skype chat (more information), The Flying Parkourists’ Facebook and in the official topic ‘Fun With TFP’.
• What are the rules?  –  They’re coming up next, read a bit further ; )
• How long will the event take?  –  Most likely a hour or even more.
• What will be the prizes of the minehunt?  –  Yet nothing, in the future there could be pirzes if successful.

Rules of the event

 

• Do not break any of the Tanki Online's game rules.
• Do not transfer your account to other players to let them play for you.
• Do not kill an organizer during the event.
• By participating in our events you automatically agree to these rules.

 

Violations of the rules will be awarded with disqualification.

I agree with the above post, I believe it's inappropriate to advertise the event of your own Parkour team in the press. There should be an advertisement section for that, I believe.

Well TFP is actually the best/popular parkour club in EN community and did deserve this topic to be in the newspaper, its like you find some awesome rock band advertising their new event in the newspaper u read and be jealous? wow

Williew is not only the leader of TFP, he is also a Reporter and hence has all the rights to make a topic here and why he did it is because he is one of the reporter who knows more about TFP and hence he started this topic not to advertise their Club, he did it to help all tankers and to have fun together.

 

What makes TFP the best? Is that even a question to ask? Just go check their topic please. And its also pinned, there won't be much for you to search. And remember its not pinned just for fun without any importance.

In response to your concern, I do agree with your statement "The main problem that willew created this topic, and willew is one of TFP leaders"  I do agree that such things will be discouraged in the future. However I do feel that there is no "cynical exploitation"  by the Newspaper. There is nothing distrustful or negative about the article. It is a positively written article promoting parkour and associated with a group that the writer is a part of. I believe there is no negative conflict of interest here. No one group has gained an advantage over another group or benefitted in any kind of unfair way through the writing of this article. Again, I agree that tying it to his own group is a practice that should be avoided, but I see it as not harmful in any way.

It is not willie's decision to take this down or to stop the event. I appreciate your opinion and the expression of your opinion. Input is always welcomed. If you feel that would like to discuss this further with me, please feel free to PM, I would look forward to speaking with you.

To put an advertisement in an actual newspaper, you much pay for it, and for bands etc, they are charged heavily. Personal publication of personal clubs etc is not yet justified, I will stand by my words and I deem this topic unjustified :< I want an explanation

Advertisement should have a separate section IMO. It could be a good addition, but this IMO, isn't justification.
